    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Enjoy the company of like minded people, having access to a stunning piece of NZ with wonderful vistas, bush, rivers, lakes and mountains, only 6 kl from the East Coast. Learn how farming can work with diversification and land use to the benefit of all and future generations. Learn how Honey, wool, cattle, alpacas, goats, horticulture and tourism can work with sustainable/ethical practices and caring animal husbandry to develop a future for the farm, the owners and their family. A chance to be part of the development of an iconic 3,000 acre NZ Farming Station, learn about the NZ bush wildlife, rivers and lake habitats, the way we farm and the people who live there. The farm was developed in the 1860's, so has an interesting history of the earlier NZ settlers from Europe and how they developed and cared for the land.
