Description
We are a non profit social organization primarily for kids and youth but welcomes anyone who wants to visit our ranch with all the animals that live there. It has activities such as a forest riding school, weekly activities and summer camps. We practice learning by doing. A nice herd of elderly horses live here in an equine active retirement community, as well as goats, sheep, pigs, bunnies, guinea pigs, quails, dogs and cats.
Our connection to and being with the animals is based on their individuality. We use non hierarchical communication and as a way of being. The ranch is a place for kids to connect to animals, nature and each other. It can be lively during events but it is mostly a serene and quiet place, perfect for self reflection and creativity.
Teenagers assist in taking care of the horses and work during camps. Among our favorite things to do is ride the horses, play games, make our own pizza or sing songs by the fire.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Our farm is set in beautiful Swedish nature, forest filled with wild blueberries and wild animals.
If you are interested you could learn about horses, how they live naturally and how you can connect to them in a conscious way.
This is for you that love nature and animals.Help
We would like help with taking care of the animals; water, feed, clean and socialize. Tasks such as cleaning the house and help build something for the animals may be available and if you are handy there is general maintenance.
We also have a barn with crafts so if you are crafty you can assist making crafts or helping the kids that are visiting.
We also want to increase our vegetable garden, we have lots of space but not so much experience.
Your work will be individualized from your interests.
In the winter you can also help with plowing snow and taking down trees.Languages

We have a cozy dormitory with 13 beds and a rustic cabin with 6 beds. The cabin is good for a private place during the summer. The house has a wood-burning sauna.
During camps food is cooked for all participants and workers but at other times it is just the people helping there that eats at the house, that has a fully functional kitchen. There is always a vegetarian meal-choice.
This is non-smoking, alcohol and drug free ranch.
Wi-Fi is unavailable on the ranch.
Washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, linens and beddings are available.
Unfortunately our house is not suited for small children. What else ...
Beautiful lakes and a mountain is within bicycle distance. Also a store and library. The village Järbo is 15 km from a town and 35 km from a larger city.
