Birr is full of cultural heritage and I used to host walks here so I know it well and am happy to share 3000 years of its history.

  • Help

Gardening, working with us on a 'build', or, if its your strength, hosting learning sessions with our small local community. Also help around the house with the host.

With your time off you will find plenty of nice walks in the surrounding area. Bikers will find a downhill biking resort on the Slieve Bloom mountains, Lough Boora Parklands, and Portumna Nature Park are not far. The midlands really holds a lot of natural beauty, people are very friendly and there is reasonably good public transport .
