Description
We (Pam & Ian) run a farm holiday complex livery yard and bar/restaurant. We are situated on the Scottish Cumbria Borders.
We have 2 grownup children one living locally with 2 children the other in America.Types of help and learning opportunities

The persons would have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world aswell as locals in the bar. They could also tour the Scottish borders. We are hopeing to promote Dark Skies.

We need help with the housekeeping and bar/restaurant. A couple or person with DIY skills and ability to cook would be an advantage. We pay the minimum wage for your worked hours.

You would have a bedroom and the use of the bar kitchen and lounge. You would eat after guests if there are any otherwise you would make your own from our fridge.

We are not on a bus route but if able to drive you could borrow my jeep or get a lift into town when I or other residents go. You can get transport to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle or lake district. on days off.

This is a country retreat, with fantastic country walks. It as no phone coverage, you can get Internet coverage from the house Internet.
I had a lovely large double room, with a bathroom just outside the door. Bed was very comfortable.
