  Description

  Hello! We are Silvia, Andrea and Alice (10 years old). We live in Asti, a wonderful city on the hills of Monferrato., land of wine and truffle, in the north-west of Italy.
  I am a dental hygienist and my husband Andrea is an IT manager. He is a very skilled cook and he loves to prepare Italian traditional dishes.
  We would like to spend our time with persons of other parts of the world.
  We are looking for help with after school care and family logistic.
  Having a young daughter, Alice, we prefer hosting girls and women. We’d prefer a person whose mother tongue is English as we wish for our child to have a good command of the language in the future.
  Alice is a sporty little girl. She loves to fencing, she can swim and ski. She also plays guitar and she loves to draw manga.
  We live in an apartment in a complex, with a big courtyard, a garden and an outdoor swimming pool (for this reason, if you come in summer, we need you to be able to swim).
  The transport service is convenient: from the train station you can easily reach Torino or Genova and there’s a bus stop in front of the house.

  You will have the opportunity to learn a lot about italian culture, the language, the Italian cuisine and our lands.
  Asti is a romanic city full of history.
  Every month hosts special events: in september the Palio takes place (the most ancient horse race of Italy) with celebrations, flag-wavers, parades and competitions between the districts; october is the month of the truffles; november and dicember are the months of the Christmas Market stalls, with crafts, food and other activities, an outdoor ice-skating rink (that we love!!) and Bagna Cauda Days to immerse yourself in the culinary and cultural traditions. Etc.
  From our city you can easily reach the sea and the mountains, cultural cities like Torino, Milano, Genova, Alba and Casale Monferrato and touristic areas like Monferrato, Langhe and Roero.

  We are looking for help with after school care, pick up our daughter at school, play with her and accompany her to extracurricular activities , like fencing, ecc.

  Accommodation

  We live in an apartment in a complex, with a big courtyard, a garden and an outdoor swimming pool, which you will have free access to. The area is peaceful, but close to services.
  We have unlimited Wi-Fi connection with high speed FTTH, Netflix and a cleaning lady .
  You will have to share the room with my daughter and the bathroom with the rest of the family.

  The area is well connected: bus stop in front of the house, train station 10 minutes by bike/bus; market (150 mt) public garden (290 mt); swimming pool (700 mt - our is opened only during the summer); cycling tours; gym (700 mt); walking in country; restaurant/fast food/pizza.
  
  From January onwards, almost every Saturday we will go skiing with the ski club buses. If you like skiing or snowboarding, you can join us or go on your own. They are very convenient and depart on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
