Description
We are family of 4 living in scenic cottage in Co Wicklow, on Ireland East Coast. We have 2 little boys aged 1 and 4 who love to be active outdoors. Where we live is very secluded and quiet and close to nature...its truly idyllic! We love to walk, hike, cycle, garden and explore to beautiful sites around us. The house and gardens look over the sea and we are within minutes from the mountains and epic historical sites like Glendalough. I (Emily) am an artist with an art shop I run from home while minding the boys and my partner Sam works in a co-working space in a nearby town where he organises community building events and a music festival. We tend to be on the move and camping quite a lot over the summer months so whoever would come to stay with us would be happiest with some camping experience and happy travelling about and experiencing music, art, community gatherings and festivals. Our main need is help with the household and some one with lots of energy for keeping the house neat and tidy will fit in well to our family and a role as Au Pair with us. Moderate command of English is required, previous experience welcomed and we are a no smoking household, we would also ask that you reserve using your phone/device to your time alone because our kids enjoy a screen-free childhood most of the time. We are a 10 minute cycle from the nearest bus stop in the village that link to local towns and Dublin (45 minutes away). We look forward to hearing from you!

We have a lovely extended family life here in Wicklow and frequently get together as a family so you will have the chance to meet and be part of that family too. We are quite social and have regular meet ups with other young families and friends. We are part of a creative community with lots of friends practicing traditional crafts and art and music. We really value spending time with people of different cultures and know how important this would be to our kids to be curious about people from different cultures and places and backgrounds. We are excited to meet you and welcome you in to our home.
We are close to Dublin so you can spend time off visiting museums and sites. We are also close to many beautiful and unique sites of interest in Wicklow like Glendalough, Lough Dan, Djouce Mountain, Ballinstoe Mountain biking trails, Roundwood village, Beyond the Trees Avondale and the beautiful seaside town of Greystones!Au Pair Help

Help
The main thing we need help with is the running of the household and mealtimes with kids. So this means someone who enjoys cleaning, tidying, preparing meals, doing laundry etc etc while spending time with the boys and us. From Sept-December we are also looking for help with childcare for our youngest each weekday morning.
We have loved having someone with us who genuinely likes to help out with cleaning, organising and tidying up. Folding laundry, deep cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, sorting out doom piles! Its simple work but done in good company and in a beautiful place.
Being with our family is a bit of everything... play and engaging creativity, laughter and fun, preparing simple meals, tidying up. The boys love to play lego, listen to audio books, chat, read comics and just be outside running, cycling and messing around.Languages spoken
