Description
We run bungalows on Easter island.
We live in the main house & we have bungalows for tourists. Our place is within 25 minutes walking distance to the center of Hanga Roa and nearest Markets and Restaurants. To the beach Anakena and to to Rano Raraku & Tongariki(15 Moais) =18 km.

WE PROVIDE BREAKFAST & LUNCH AND ACCOMMODATION. WORKING ACCORDING WORK AWAY RULES :4 HOURS DAILY, 5 DAYS A WEEK. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE OUR PLACE YOU COULD QUIT AFTER 3 DAYS, THIS COUNTS FOR BOTH SIDES.

YOU COULD PREPARE THE BREAKFAST IN YOUR CABIN AND WE BUY THE FOOD TOGETHER FOR LUNCH & DINNER WHICH YOU CAN PREPARE IN YOUR CABIN FOR YOURSELF.
IF YOU NEED A SPECIAL DIET, IT IS BETTER THAT YOU BRING IT FROM SANTIAGO WITH YOU. HERE ON THE ISLAND IT IS DIFFICULT TO BUY FOR EXAMPLE GLUTEN FREE PRODUCTS. TO WALK TO THE CENTER OF TOWN IT TAKES 25 MINUTES. IT IS VERY QUIET WHERE WE LIVE. WE HAVE 4 CATS.
THE CABIN HAS WIFI AND A TV.

I believe if you’d like to stay a bit longer on Rapa Nui you should stay a whole month. I would stay way much more without the regulation.

If you are in a couple, one of you will clean the bungalows and the other will do general maintenance. I stayed for 3 weeks with Peter and his family, and this experience has been excellent. The life on the island is extremely unique in the world and very pleasant. The work itself is quite enjoyable. Besides, sharing stories and perspectives with Peter and Tiare is also enlightening. I would definitely recommend this site.

Elisa helped us with cleaning and gardening. She did a great job, thanks . She has lots of patience, and she is a very nice person too. You can talk with her about anything, she has an open mind. She knows how to keep places clean and in order. We will miss her, thank you=maururu.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the bungalows for two weeks! Peter is a fair boss and clear in his expectations, but even more importantly he and Tiare are welcoming and caring. I enjoyed every minute of my time with their family, and I would absolutely recommend this workaway!

this was my first workaway experience and I really enjoyed it! I think I couldn't have found a better place to start with workaway than with Peter,Tiare,Anabel and Leonor. ;-) The Island is absolutely beautiful and full of history. If you come here, you'll have plenty of time to explore Rapanui(the Easter Island)
