Hamadryad is a low-impact building project.
We are building a natural house in the Belgian forests where we wish to promote low-impact living.
If you like the peacefullness of the forest and love to get your hands dirty actually doing something to make the world a better place, than you're at the right spot !!
During the past 9 years we have had volunteers from all over the world, all having a good experience at Hamadryad, some even came back to help some more!
We are very open-minded people, love to spread our knowledge and experience of low-impact building and always good for a chat and a laugh!
We are looking for help during the month of July this year (2019).
We need some help with plumbing, some basic woodworking (shelves, small stairs, etc.) and all sorts of finishing-off tasks like cleaning, taping everything for painting, painting, sanding, etc.). So keep in mind most of tasks don't need special skills. The good thing about that is: everyone can basically help us out, a downside is that you probably won't be learning much from these tasks. But I'm of course very willing to share all our experiences from the past and explain you how we did certain things and so on.
If you are into this, let us know. I will be working the full month in july to FINISH THE HOUSE COMPLETELY !!! Hell yeah!
Contact us if you want more information or just want to get over here to help us out!

If your heart is with nature and natural building, you'll find helping at hamadryad really rewarding! You'll be able to be part of the most exciting time in the building process: The finishing of the house!
We wish to finish the house the next few months!!! So we are at a very exciting stage of the project!
We are looking for someone to work side-by-side to complete the Hamadryad House. A lot of small finishings and small repairs need to be done. Also we need to clean and paint the house!
You can also sleep in our comfortable guest room at the house where we currently live (nearby the construction side).
Everybody is welcome! I'm always interested in meeting new people from all over the world.
