Description
WELCOME TO THE GREEN DINOSAURS COUNTRY in the Natural Parc of the plains of the Scheldt with many ponds, forests, canals, natural reserves, ....in western Wallonia.
Here a life in a farmhouse in the countryside to develop a way of life closed to the nature: kitchen vegetable garden being become a permaculture garden , fruits, harvest and winter keep preserve, medicinal wild edible plants...Some renovation buildings tasks ....
Need some help with my baby of 2 years old.
There's definitely a great variety in types of tasks where your help would be much appreciated.
A big thank you to those who started with me this experience with Workaway and gave me the desire to continue sharing this adventure...

Farmhouse being renovated with a garden ;
- possibility to put a tent in the garden.
- Independant huge lightly dormitory of 4 persons with lounge, with a separated bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) .
- Some work clothes available.
- Most of the time, vegetarian/pescatorian food.

1. RAILSWAY: Good to know for traveling by train in Belgium:
- Half price ticket for every body on the WE (go and back)
- For young people under 26 years old, buy a GO PASS ONE ticket and cross all Belgium for 6 euros !
- Subscription 10 trips (up to 26 old) for 7.40 by trip
2. The farmhouse is located:
- in 20 minutes by car or train of Mons, Tournai (young and cultural cities). This year 2015 is Mons the cultural capital of Europe;
- in 20 min by car of a Gallo-Roman archeological site interactive in Aubechies;
- in 30 min of Cambron Casteau (huge animal park "Pairi daiza" with pandas);
- in 45 min of Lille by car;
- in 1 hour of Bruges by car
- in 1 hour of Brussels by car, of Maroilles (very famous French cheese to south);

I highly recommend travelers to stop there! Laurence makes everything for the volunteers to feel like home.
