    Description

My name is Olga Maria. I am 40 years old mother of two sons Kazik (12 years old) and Zygmunt (8 years old).

We live in a small village with a free and organic community of artists, builders, gardeners and farmers. You have a chance for music and dance jam sessions, drawing and graphic class, to watch blacksmiths in action, to get a massage, go for a horse ride to the forrest... and many more. Many visitors say that there is a special feeling in Nowina, a slow life tempo and people enjoy every conversation and simple moments shared with the neighbours.

I am a creatores of little organic nest for living and thriving in a healthy, free and healing atmosphere. We live close to nature and try to restore our relation with Mother Earth. Try to understand that we are not separated from nature. We are part of it. My family lives in a strawbale house where we have a room and attic for hosting a volunteer or a couple of volunteers. Next by stands tiny wood and clay house for rent.

I am a bodyworker and shiatsu therapy practitioner. Recently I came back to work with performance art and develope movement, somatic and dance research in the themes related to natural elements of the water and clay. I can fascilitate playfight circles, teach contact improvisation dance. I run a little manufacture with handmade soy wax candles and essential oils. Hobbistically I play on mandoline in an Orchestra.

We have 2 cats that live outdoor, Bonifacy and Filemonka.

My sons can help in different house maintance tasks. They can show you how to use some basic tools, how to climb the trees, build a shelter and give some survival tips. You can watch them working with metal, wood and leather, making customknives in a blacksmith workshop, sharpening the blades, sewing leather holster and oter things.

I welcome co-creation and help with taking care and developing this place. I try to use permaculture design approach and follow my intuition with it.

The volunteers can experience a quite and simple life in the wild, clean and natural surrounding. They can take advantage of social and cultural life of our local community (such as concerts, music and dance jams, artcraft, theatre, dance workshops etc.).
Our village is surrounded by two big forrests and small hills with the horses grazing outdoor. You can hear cows, goats, hens, ducs, gooses here and experience a kind of surrogate of the old days small scale farming.

You may chat with friendly villagers and very possibly meet citizens of all over the world who come to rest in the agrotourstic farms in Nowina.
You can benefit from all the goods of wild nature – hills with old beech forres, wild animals, small streams, places where grows wild herbs and wild eatable plants.
