Description
We're a brand new hostel located in the heart of the Historic Center in Mexico City in a building with bones more than 100 years old. We have an outdoor terrace with an amazing view of the city’s skyline that will leave you speechless. Fully equipped with a kitchen and different living areas like a coworking zone as well as a chill zone to rest up and watch TV. Beds are pod-like
We are in a perfect location. The area is characterized by the diversity and variety of businesses, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, cafes, pharmacies and many craft stores.
We are:
- 1 block away from Mexico City bike station where you can rent a bike to better see the city
- 3 blocks from the zocalo and the main cathedral
- 5-minute walk from the most famous pedestrian street in Mexico City, Avenida Madero, where you will find a variety of shops
- 10-minute walk from the Palace of Fine Arts and the Alameda Central Park
Our number one goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where people socialize and have a good time with everyone. We aim to be the home away from home for many travelers that stay with us. To do this, we organize day and night activities to get to know the area. Your task as a volunteer will be to help out in creating a family and friendly vibe with all our guests!
Help: helping with reception and organizing activities. Have fun creating a cool event during the week such as exploring Mexico City, cooking something delicious, taco tour, day-trips, yoga sessions, a dance class, you name it! Anything you feel comfortable with and that most guests can take part in.
Basically you will be the soul of our place.
Please note, minimum stay is 4 weeks. No maximum stay.
We have a paid staff who does the maintenance/cleaning and a paid bartender.Types of help and learning opportunities

You will get to meet new people on a daily basis, socialize with locals and immerse yourself into the Mexican culture.
Help
We always aim to have a team who are easy-going, sociable, and friendly who can help us with reception, socialize with our guests and get them involved in our activities.
We offer activities during the day and the evenings which we would love you to get involved with and help you explore Mexico City in the process and get to know the local culture.
Although we have local staff that do the cleaning and maintenance, we do expect you to be aware of your new home, cleaning after yourself ( just like all the guests do) and keeping the common areas organized.Languages spoken

Working here was one of the best experiences I’ve had while travelling! The people running the hostel are impossible not to love, and the same goes for all the many volunteers I got to work with.

I was there before the opening and together with a bunch of other volunteers we prepared the hostel for the opening.
It was super fun and the volunteers but also the owners where so nice! We did lots of activities together and we all felt very welcome and became close in such a short period of time.… read more
