    Description

Our ranch offers horseback holidays, retreats and adventures on horseback near Rocky Mountain House (central Alberta). This year we are also starting an orchard and putting in a large garden.
We are horseback riding specialists! Our Ranch has a large herd of horses that are a splendid splash of color, breeds and personalities. Just Ride, Live the Dream, Live the Legend, Live the West. Come where life is still western and we have big spaces - lots of clean air and clear skies! We promote the western lifestyle and like our guests to feel like they are part of the family. We teach natural horsemanship, softness and connection and we are willing to share our many years of experience with you.

Last minute request: 1. looking for volunteers who loves outdoor work, especially working in the garden - help with general ranch chores, yard maintenance, painting, etc. 2. help with tourists and guests ( no horse skills necessary)

Bear and I are looking for friendly, energetic girls who like working with guests. Horse skills would be great to help re-fresh the horses before the busy summer season. There are always general ranch chores to do every day: moving horses, fixing fence, getting camp supplies/tents set up, helping with horses to get them ready for guests to ride etc. We would also like to have some girls who like to garden.
We are always looking for someone with IT/art skills that can help in the office with bookings, paperwork, making posters, online newsletters etc. - no horse skills required, but we can give you opportunity to ride ...

If you are looking to come for a "holiday" we are not the place for you. If you are looking to experience the western lifestyle of our ranch and are prepared to work and ride with us then please inquire! We challenge you to learn to be a better partner with our equine family and with people. We expect you to grow and develop your "common sense - horse sense" being able to look at a problem and figure out the right answer... or at least try...

Our Practical Heart to Heart Horse Program is learn by doing and practicing what we teach you about horses. Heart to Heart, lots of energy work, open field join up and more... Come experience "REAL HORSES" - our horses live outside all year long in every kind of weather. Come and connect on a higher level!

Will hire suitable and knowledgeable girls paying current minimum wage, we will charge a fee for room and board

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are an experiential and educational retreat center/camp, horses are our life and passion and we have much to teach about the spirit of the horse and living in the west. We work long days but we share a lot of knowledge with you.
Working with horses adds to your understanding of energy work and how energy affects the world around you. Horses are incredible mirrors of your life and have much to teach us all! We live in a very quiet, secluded ranch, lots of wildlife wanders through the yard and we see moose, deer, coyotes, wolves and lots of birds.
WE are very knowledgeable about native Indian culture and have much to share about indigenous cultures.
One of our core values is: You are who you ride with!
We are looking for open, honest, patient and caring people who would like to be role models and teachers to the young girls that come to our riding camps.
