Description
Hi! I’m Mathias and I have been living in Dalsland for 2 years now, together with my cat Lilly. I have a garden with a small vegetable patch. For the upcoming spring (April/May 2027), I am looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help me upgrade my vegetable garden.
The help is mostly focused on gardening and small hands-on DIY projects together. We will be preparing the soil for spring, weeding, putting together a couple of simple wooden raised beds, laying down wood-chip paths, and doing light maintenance. It's a great opportunity to get your hands in the soil, learn about gardening and/or share knowledge, and enjoy being outdoors in Swedish nature!
Living in Dalsland means being surrounded by nature. My home is located in a quiet village close to stunning forests and lakes. It's the perfect place to enjoy a slower pace of life. In your free time, you can go hiking, cycling, or swimming in the nearby lakes. On quiet evenings, you can often spot deer wandering right past the garden!
I enjoy cooking good vegan food, working in the garden, hiking in the forest, and now and then going on a trip. I like a no-nonsense, welcoming, and easygoing atmosphere at home where everyone feels comfortable. -
