    Description

We live on the The isle of Mull, Scotland. We are a family of 4, Tom with partner Sarah and Children Charlotte who is 18 years old and Henry 16 years old. The day to day running is done by myself, Tom with family helping when needed. Sarah my partner works away as an equine podiatrist for half the week.

We are running a highland estate for our employer, the estate consists of hill and low ground. There are 750 sheep and 15 highland cows. Rough idea of yearly events
    January/February: 15 Calving
    April: park sheep lambing
    May: hill sheep lambing
    June: shearing park sheep
July: gathering Ben More and shearing ewes, marking lambs.
    August: weaning lambs

Obviously there is always estate maintenance, fencing, topping, strimming and other chores. Sheep and Cattle come in for their routine dosing and foot care through the year.

We have 9 dogs consisting of working collies, a kelpie, a pointer and elderly munsterlander. Also have 3 horses, a fell pony, an appaloosa and a cob x, there is limited horse related work, but possibly a chance of riding if wanted.
