We live in a small beach town in Panama with our young growing family and are looking for someone to help educate our kids and our growing expat community. We are from New York, Colombia and Panama. We have been living in Panama for the last 10 years. We run a small beach resort in our town that is at the center of community and expat life in our small town.
We are looking to provide our children with an education that our town cannot provide, while still having them enjoy the benefits of this wonderful community and the off the beaten path lifestyle.

We live in a coastal town in Panama. Although small, and somewhat remote, our town is home to many expats and receives visiting tourists throughout the year. Local recreational activities: swim, surf, fish, yoga, relax, hike, and bird.
Teacher Wanted – for children kindergarten to second grade level
This is a great opportunity for an energetic, adventurous, and responsible individual hoping to both travel and build their professional resume.
Facility is a one-room school house and we will provide all necessary school materials and equipment. We require a minimum of 5 hours (includes an hour of lesson planning) of schooling Monday – Friday for 2 young children, 7 years and 5 years.
Furnished housing is included, along with a bike to get around our small town. We would ideally like someone to stay for a minimum commitment of 4-months but we are flexible.
We are looking for an educated teaching professional. Must have some accreditations and a minimum of 2 personal references and 3 work-related references. Command of the Spanish language is a plus but not required.

Panama is an extremely safe country and uses the American dollar. Although most rural people do not speak English the country is relatively easy to travel within.

1 Bedroom in private 3 bedroom house that will also function as a day time classroom for the students as well as housing for the teacher. Full Kitchen, AC in bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, hot water, front and back porch, large yard. Some Utilities are included. Food is not. This is a paid position.
