    Description

    Hello future volunteer,

Welcome to Saboga Island, Panama. This is a small island surrounded by nature, beaches and a quiet local community. At the lodge we are developing a small eco-lodge, and volunteers are part of the daily life of the project while they are here.

We are a small team and we work together day by day. Everyone helps where needed depending on what is happening at the lodge.

Life here is simple and peaceful, with nature all around you.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Travellers will benefit from a cultural exchange by experiencing daily life in a small island community in Panama and becoming part of a close-knit team.

They will learn about local culture, island lifestyle, and how a small eco-lodge operates on a day-to-day basis. This includes practical hospitality experience such as guest service, teamwork, and supporting daily operations in a real working environment.

They will also have the opportunity to improve language skills (English and Spanish), share knowledge with the local team, and learn about sustainability practices in a remote island setting.

Overall, it is a hands-on experience that combines cultural exchange, teamwork, and learning through real involvement in the project.
