I am Kim, the Director of an English language school in Siem Reap, Angkor, Cambodia. We currently have 110 students ranging from age 3- 12 plus an adult evening class!
We offer a range of full-time and part-time classes available from morning until evening. Also, report writer, who is interesting in a developing country education, it is an opportunity to join me conducting a research project on how teachers are teaching and students are learning.

The opportunity to teach English to a range of students of different ages and levels in a small, community based, self-sustaining school.
Volunteers will work alongside local Cambodian staff with the opportunity to develop valuable teaching skills. The volunteers required to join workshop, reflection or training at least one a month with local staff to share and learn new skills.
This is an ideal opportunity to benefit from an authentic cultural exchange and truly experience Cambodian culture with welcoming local people.
For the researcher, you will have the opportunity to meet with different teachers at different schools and students for gathering news about teaching and learning techniques and learn how to write a research report.

I am the Director of an English learning centre and am looking for volunteers (both native and non-native English speakers) to help with my learning centre.
Depending on your experience, you can either be a teaching assistant (helping local Khmer teachers) or lead the class yourself and produce lesson plans etc. Or you could begin as a teaching assistant and progress to leading the class as your confidence grows.
Volunteers would work from Monday-Friday and the hours are flexible and can range from 3-4 hours a day covering either morning, afternoon and/or evening classes. The students' ages range from 3-12 years plus an adult evening class.
The school is half NGO and half social enterprise and is self-sustaining relying on student contributions and donations.
For researcher volunteer, Help Director to uncovered new teaching techniques in order to develop a new road map for local teachers.
For volunteers staying for a month or more, I can offer a small self-contained apartment next to my family home. The accommodation includes a spacious bedroom for up to 2 people, your own kitchen and bathroom with sit down toilet!
You are welcome to join my family at mealtimes (lunch) which can be shared with me and my family (wife, son, daughter, niece and my parents-in-law). Experience Cambodian hospitality and enjoy authentic, healthy, traditional Khmer dishes in a relaxed family setting.

Siem Reap is located in northwest Cambodia. It is the major tourist hub in Cambodia, as it is the closest city to the world famous temples of Angkor - the Angkor temple complex is just 5 minutes away by tuk tuk or car.
Other must-see attractions include the nearby floating villages on the shores of beautiful Tonle Sap Lake, the greatest water reserve in Southeast Asia.
The name Siem Reap literally means "Siamese defeated", referring to the victory of the Khmer Empire over the army of the Thai kingdom in the 17th century.
During your free time, you can explore the stunning local countryside by bicycle, motorbike or tuk tuk - and discover lush rice paddy fields, rural villages with friendly smiling locals, and a wealth of beautiful temples.
