Description
Hello, I'm a single older man who lives in Point England, a nice diverse suburb in the east of Auckland, New Zealand, about 1km from the Tamaki River estuary. I live in a 2bedroom flat in a large complex, families and professionals. There is a good spread of restaurants and supermarkets (from various ethnicities) close by and the North-South motorway (giving access to the whole North Island) is 6km away.
I have a cat named George - he's a 4year old ginger, friendly though wary of strangers at first, calm and playful, very healthy. -

I will be travelling in Singapore (where I'm from) so I will not be sending time with you but there are loads of community activities in the area and city - Auckland is a very diverse city.

I'm hoping to find someone* who is travelling in Auckland over Christmas and would be interested in staying in my flat and providing care and company for my cat, George. George requires feeding twice a day, ensuring there's fresh water, changing the litter tray one, sometimes twice, a day and, in the unlikely event of sickness or injury, taking him to the vet. Also to keep the flat reasonably clean.
*Please note the flat only has a queen single bed but there is also a think foldout mattress. -

Accommodation
2bedroom 3rd level flat, fully-equipped kitchen, tidy bathroom, large living room, balcony. One bedroom is a study and the other is a bedroom with a queen single bed and a foldout mattress. You provide your own food but welcome to use the cooker/oven, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher.
