Description
Hello and welcome! We’re a friendly family living in a peaceful rural area, where we share our home with our energetic young boy, a playful dog, and a curious cat. Our days are often filled with laughter, outdoor adventures, and creative moments.
We’re always busy with a few small personal projects—whether it’s gardening, DIY home improvements, or exploring new hobbies—and we’d love an extra pair of hands and a positive spirit to join us.
What we value most is connecting with people from different cultures. We believe in sharing experiences, stories, and skills, and we look forward to learning from you as much as we hope you’ll learn from us. If you’re looking for a calm place to stay, eager to help out, and excited to immerse yourself in our family life, we’d love to hear from you!Types of help and learning opportunities

Staying with us offers a unique chance to experience life in a quiet rural area, where the community is small but welcoming. There are three traditional local inns nearby—simple, authentic spots where you can occasionally meet locals, share a drink, and get a taste of life here (though they’re not open every day, adding to their charm!).
You’ll be part of our family’s daily life, with plenty of opportunities for social activities like shared meals, exploring the surrounding nature, or working together on projects. We’re happy to share our skills and experience in renovating a house, setting up and maintaining a garden, and working in the forest.
What we hope most is to learn from you—how people from different backgrounds and cultures approach life’s challenges, find solutions, and see the world. We believe these exchanges help us grow and enrich our lives, and we can’t wait to hear your stories and perspectives.Help
More than anything, we’d love someone who wants to hang out, share stories, and spend time with us as a family. A big part of that is playing with our young son—he’s full of energy and loves having someone new to explore and laugh with!
You can also join us for small DIY projects, a bit of gardening, or light tasks around the house, but the main goal is to connect, learn from each other, and enjoy each other’s company.
No special skills needed—just bring a kind heart, a sense of fun, and a willingness to be part of our daily life.Languages

We offer a comfortable private room in our home, with a shared living area and bathroom. You’ll have a clean, secure space to relax and rest after the day’s activities.
We love sharing meals together and see cooking as a wonderful way to connect. Since we work regular 9-to-5 jobs in the nearby town of Ptuj, we’d appreciate if you could prepare meals—don’t worry, we’ll provide all the ingredients you need! It’s a great opportunity to share your favorite recipes or try your hand at local dishes.
We aim to make you feel at home and part of the family while you’re here.A little more information
