    Description

    Hello dear Workawayers.

We are Kaya (33), Ate (43), Sproet and Coco (dogs 3 and 1.5 years old). We live on our private homestead in Nysäter, Sweden. We just bought the farm and live there now for 2 month. With its 19 hectares, it has a big potential. Nature and peace here are magnificent!

We are private and are consuming for our self, we are not a company.

Kaya is very good in expressing herself and give others space to do that as wel. She is also an animal expert, especially horses and dogs, and find wisdom in the core of nature. She can “infect” you with her joyfull being and loves to be “infected” by other people and their passions and inspirations.

Ate worked as a gardener with people with a disability. He can share some of his knowledge and his soft, calm and save being.

Sproet is a gentle, cuddly and joyful being and shows everyone what love is. He also mirrors our internal state. Coco is in the beginning a bit careful but this will dissapear quite quickly. It is important that a workawayer loves and enjoys the company of dogs.

We can host 1, maybe 2 persons (A couple or friends can stay at the same room/tent) at a time.

Another reason to invite a Workawayer, is to have fun together. Working together is much more fun then alone.

We are sensitive, warm and open. We like to play boardgames, go for a walk with the dogs, spent time whith the horses, dance, listen to music, practice yoga, meditate and so much more.

We are working in our forrest for firewood and building materials. Also we are going to prepare our vegitables garden at the end of the summer for next year. Our goal with food production is to coöporate with nature and to follow the permaculture and regenaritive principles.

We want that people feel comfortable to be them selves. We very much value honesty, even if it is uncomfortable.

Our dream is to live in a community with like minded people. Keywords: being yourself, trive with others, sharing, nature. We have the space and looking forward to examin the possibilitys to let more people live here.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We hope our guests will truly feel at home with us and get an authentic glimpse into everyday life in Sweden. We enjoy sharing meals together, exchanging stories, and showing you around our local area. During your stay, you'll not only learn practical skills but also experience our culture, traditions, and way of life. We are equally interested in learning about your culture and believe that cultural exchange is one of the most rewarding parts of the Workaway experience.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We have a big, spacious tent: 3 meters diagonal. We also have an old loghouse and a smaller tent wich can be used.

Good to know: for now (mid July) we don't have a bathroom and flowing water from the tap. At the moment we use jerrycans for drinking and washing. This is something that is going to be fixed at the end of the summer when de ground is soft enough for digging. We have a (battery) camping shower that can be used outside.
There is also no working washingmachine, we wash our cloth by hand and in a small hand washing machine.

We will provide 3 meals a day. We will cook together, ourselves or we can ask you to cook. We love to eat healthy nutritious and biological food. We eat meat and fish but not everyday.
