Hello Workawayers! 💙❄️
We run a Ski Hotel located in the beautiful mountain ranges of Hakuba, at Tsugaike Ski resort of Japan. We would love you to join us to experience some epic slopes with some of the best powder in the world!
We have a preference for people that can stay longer than 2 months or all winter. For our Workaway team we provide free accommodation, 3 meals a day, ski/snowboard equipment, ski lift passes to be shared amongst volunteers, fun and great memories. ⛄️
We are open during the winter season (November → April) and will be looking for volunteers to join us throughout this period.
We are looking for a variety of skilled people so anyone can apply. We have a particular interest in people with the following skills:
-Chef
-Waitors/Waitresses
-House renovations
-Bar Staff
-Writing Skills
-Multiple languages with a particular focus on English, Chinese & Japanese
-But the main responsibilities of Workawayers will be keeping the Hotel clean and organised, making rooms and housekeeping along

While staying with you will have the opportunity to practice your snowboarding and skiing (we are located 20 meters from the ski lift!), practice language skills with guests and fellow volunteers, learn new skills the kitchen, bar and other areas of the hotel.

We require a variety of skills at the hotel and in the kitchen. We are looking for people who are willing to work well in a team and use their initiative to get jobs done. Main duties for our volunteers will be:

We have preference to people who can speak multiple languages with a particular focus on English, Chinese and Japenese.
We can only accept applications from people who have a working holiday visa.

Everything and everyone where so lovely. The family running this place is so amazing, hard working and welcoming! I completely recommend this place, it didn't even feel like work at all because of the family environment, it was such a fun and loving experience!
