  • Description

Coronavirus has put my husband and I isolated. HOWEVER

Our cottage is empty and ready for workaways but obviously you would not be able to eat with us!😕
My husband and I have four daughters and seven gandchildren. Rosssie is a small family run estate with a farm and a garden which is open on various days for charity under Scotland's Gardens. As we open the Gardens in May it would be such a help to have a couple to stay. The cottage is lovely and comfortable.
References can be given by past workaways.l

They would benefit from helping in a beautiful garden, learn gardening skills. There is every type of ground work during the Autumn, some mundane work but also skills to be embraced.
There is a lot to explore in Scotland a car would be preferable for a workaway but not essential. Edinburgh is an hour away, Glasgow is an hour away also. St Andrews and all east coast villages are also an hour away.
The volunteers could practise their English and ask about anything they are interested in.
The main attraction is the peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

general help in the garden. This includes greenhouse help, cuttings, splitting of plants. Outside work, weeding, strimming, tidying and all aspects of gardening. Chain saw license a bonus, Heavy tree work. Ability to drive a tractor and trailer. Sit on mower etc all experience needed.
The workaways stay in our holiday cottage and help in the mornings.
Due to COVID we are providing £100 a week for provisions for two people. Our accommodation can have three people.
There is a car at your disposal but a clean driving license is essential. This is for local use.
Busses go through to Perth which connect to busses or trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews and Dundee. Also busses go northbound.
Rainy days there is cooking and computer work in the house. I am a cook by profession so a lot of fun can be had!

  • Accommodation

The Cottage is very comfortable and is our holiday Cottage. It has a double bedroom, bathroom with separate shower, large kitchen and sitting room. We also have another equally comfortable accommodation which can accommodate three people. This we will use until the holiday lets dry up.

    What else ...

There is a lot to explore in the area. Perth, which is a market town, is 7 miles away. We are also in easy reach of the Highlands and the east coast villages in Fife. Edinburgh is under an hour away.
We are on a bus route which links into city busses from Perth. OR a car would allow more access to the country side.
    Very comfortable accommodation.
