  Description

  My husband and I live in the picturesque coastal town of Port Fairy in Victoria, about 3 hours by road or train from Melbourne, in the Great Ocean Road region of Victoria.
  
  We live one block from a beautiful beach and have comfortable private accommodation, seperate from our main house, with your own bathroom and living space. Our home is an easy walk from the heart of Port Fairy with plenty of amenities, restaurants, pubs and shopping.
  
  If you don't have a vehicle it's easy to get here as there is a train from Melbourne to Warrnambool where we could collect you. We have bikes for riding around town and you can walk everywhere too.
  
  We would love to offer accommodation and meals in exchange for some help with painting - 4 to 5 hours p/day during the week, downtime on weekends for you to enjoy.

  We are a welcoming couple, both born in Australia. We have had many overseas guests stay with us and we enjoy the sharing of stories about our country, and yours. We also like cooking and entertaining and including our guests in these occasions where they can learn about local food, customs and day-to-day Australian life.

  It might be doing some painting, gardening or if you are handy some odd jobs on the diy project we are doing nearby.

  Accommodation

  We have an independent studio space at the rear of our property, fully self contained. It has a private bathroom with toilet and shower, a living area and 3 single beds (can be combined to make double bed). There is access to free WIFI and Netflix. You have easy access to the home and kitchen, laundry. We are a short 3 minute walk to the beach and 10 min stroll to the main part of the town of Port Fairy.

  What else ...

  You will be located in one of the most beautiful parts of Victoria - in the famous Great Ocean Road region. Lots of fabulous spots to discover nearby for walking, beaching, swimming, camping or if you like cafes and restaurants and shopping that is all close by as well. We would provide all food, with helping yourself to breakfast and lunch and then we would come together for dinner or you can make what you like for dinner. We are pretty easy going!
