Description
Hi! My name is Kai, and I’d love to welcome you to my home.
I live in a quiet spot near the city of Granada, offering the best of both worlds: proximity to the city and the chance to enjoy an incredible natural setting—right by a lake with the Sierra Nevada mountains directly in view.
I’m the father of two wonderful children who are full of energy, curiosity, and joy. They love to play, explore, create, and discover new things. Since I share parenting duties with their mother, they aren't always home; when they’re away, I’m usually here alone. I don't typically host multiple volunteers at once, so this isn't the place to connect with a large group of other volunteers—though you might occasionally cross paths with a friend or family member of mine, it’s generally a pretty quiet household.
Personally, I love meeting people from other places and sharing stories, cultures, and ideas. I believe every exchange is an opportunity to grow and learn from one another. I’m always up for a chat and sharing my way of life. If you’re interested, I can also show you around the city of Granada or the surrounding area—a region rich in both geographical and cultural diversity.
As for tasks, they vary depending on the moment.
I’m mainly looking for help with cooking and cleaning, as well as assistance with the kids when they’re home with me. However, there are often tasks involving gardening, maintenance, or painting as well.
I also started a small vegetable garden this year and am thinking about getting some chickens, so if you’re interested in those kinds of activities, you could get involved with that too.

Hola!

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Granada is one of the most multicultural cities, apart from being a very beautiful city with gorgeous places to visit, from the Alhambra to the Albaicin, or its fantastic viewpoints like San Nicolas, where there is a welcoming atmosphere accompanied by beautiful views.
There are also many events for all tastes.
There are some beautiful beaches, the Sierra Nevada mountains, several free natural hot springs, and incredible places for hiking. It's hard to find so many things within a single province. But Granada has it all. -

Help
As for the tasks, they're varied and depend a bit on the situation. They might include gardening, maintenance, minor renovations, cleaning, or cooking, as well as helping with the children when they're with me. This year I've also started a small vegetable garden and I'm thinking of getting some chickens, so if you're interested in those kinds of activities, you could participate as well.
