Hello!
My name is Lilia, I am 21 years old and I'm from Germany :)

I finished high school in 2022 and spent the last two years traveling around doing bits of everything I could think of :)

I spent 5 weeks in England, doing farmwork with my best friend and then started my solo trip in the Philippines, volunteering at a marine conservation project for four months. I spontaneously decided to go backpack Thailand and Indonesia for a couple of months afterwards. My longest stay was New Zealand, where I did a working holiday for a year, during which I mostly lived and traveled in my car. I also did some wwoofing over there and fell in love with gardening and, of course, hiking :)
I can genuinely say that this trip has been the best time of my life and I am beyond grateful for all the memories and experiences that come with traveling, cultural exchange and meeting people. To me traveling is a way of exploring new hobbies and experiencing different styles of living.
Last October I decided to settle down again, in Germany, and start studying Psychology.

I'm from a small town and love being outside. I enjoy working in the garden, caring for animals, cooking, being physically active and learning new things such as crafting or building (LOVE painting!). I like being part of and working on bigger projects as well!

As for my hobbies:
I love listening to and making music. I've been taking classical piano lessons for 12 years, taught myself how to play the ukulele and a bit of guitar. I used to sing in choirs and take solo lessons as well.
I love literature and poetry and occasionally share my pieces on contests or open mic nights :)
I did a lot of diving in South east Asia and got my divemaster certificate. I love learning about marine biology and the underwater world. I also kind of learnt how to surf. I'm quite bad at it but it's a lot of fun so I just surf poorly when I do :D
I really enjoy cooking (vegan only), especially for a lot of people as I come from a family of 6 and I have never managed to actually only cook 1 or 2 portions.
I am also interested in learning any kind of dance or instrument and French or Spanish.

I really enjoy primitive or minimalistic lifestyles. I'm very happy doing something different every day and not having a set routine. As I said I'm from a big family - I'm comfortable around a bit of Chaos ;) However if I need to have a routine I can get adjusted to it quite easily.
