Hi, my name is Dia!
I'm 23 years old and currently studying psychology in Germany.

Ever since I can remember, discovering the different facets of the world - and the people living in it- has been the most fulfilling thing for me.

"Workaway's" concept of traveling is something I’m just beginning to explore, but I am confident this is a great chance to experience a special kind of exchange and to gain new skills and personal growth.

I love openhearted interactions with people from different cultures and I am open to new adventures.

I've been working at the ambulance as a paramedic for three years which had a big impact on my social skills and of course led to some medical knowledge.

In my everyday life, I'm used to being around children and various animals.

I'm not a professional craftsman, but growing up in the countryside with our own big garden and lots of animals made me realise that I find joy in building things with my hands and I'm not afraid of physical work.

I enjoy cooking and baking (vegan) and most of the time it turns out surprisingly delicious ;)
I am also passionate about all kinds of sports and I'm always willing to try out something new.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people, doing something meaningful and enjoying my time in great company!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My mother tongue is german, which I've already used to teach Chinese children this language privately at home, additionally to their school education. In general I've spend a lot of time looking after children and I'd say most of the time they enjoyed it as much as me.
I do speak english fluently and took some french classes in school but sadly my ability in speaking french is very little.
Because of my background as paramedic I do have some medical knowledge and a great amount of social skills.
The Following skills are not gained as a professional education nevertheless I'd count them as my abilities: cooking and baking (only vegan), gardening and crafting on a simple base.
Besides working with children I am also very used to taking care of animals. I grew up with various pets I've fostered animals of a local animal welfare organization and currently I am the owner of two dogs, five cats and nine rabbits.
