I feel so lucky that my first Workaway experience was with Patrick and Luisa in beautiful Perdifumo. The work was new to me, but Luisa patiently explained everything with kindness, and I learned and got comfortable with many different tasks. Patrick is an amazing cook, every day he surprised us with a delicious dish from around the world, and always made sure to respect our preferences and food restrictions. They really cared and made us feel at home. Since dinner was on our own, they offered to buy everything we needed from our shopping list. Many times when they went to the beach or nearby towns, they warmly invited us to join. Patrick even took me to Salerno with him, and showed me so many things along the way. They invited me to pizza nights, and every time they went for ice cream they were asking me to join which made me feel like part of the family. The accommodation was wonderful: a very clean room with a private kitchen and bathroom, and an incredible view of the sea and mountains. The village itself is stunning, peaceful, and full of kind people. It’s the perfect place to relax, slow down, and enjoy the beauty of Italy away from the noise.Just keep in mind that since the village is on a hill, there aren’t many activities within walking distance — apart from strolling around the village itself, which has amazing views. But they provided us with electric bicycles, which made it easy to go hiking and explore the beautiful surroundings. I am so grateful for this first Workaway experience. Highly recommended!

I spent two wonderful weeks with Chiara, Vincenzo and the beautiful animals and I could have stayed forever. The work is in the morning and a bit in the evening but it leaves definitely enough space and time for other things. I was looking for a place to calm down a bit, be in nature, experience the Puglian lifestyle and it could not have been any better. Chiara and Vincenzo are the kindest hosts, letting me be part of their life, introducing me to traditional food, bringing me to the seaside (because I came without a car), letting me join for family or friends parties and at the same time giving me enough space for myself. I felt taken care of so incredibly well and i am full of gratefullness for their welcoming and warm ways! For me it was a pleasure to be around the animals and take care of them! In the place you have everything that you might need, from Wi-Fi to a hot shower and delicious fresh vegetables from the garden. I would recommend this magical place to anyone and I am looking forward to coming back one day!

Staying with Claire was such a wonderful experience! She welcomed me warmly, and every day was full of learning and memorable moments. I especially enjoyed cooking together and going another place. If you have any experience with wall repair, it could be very helpful here. The host is very kind, and I felt comfortable and at home during my stay. I highly recommend this host to any Workawayer!

Sergio, Ester, Fer, Romi, Seba e tutte le persone che abbiamo incontrato sono fantastiche e generose, il tempo volava tra risate, curiosità, musica e uscite alla scoperta della città Sergio, oltre a essere meraviglioso, è anche un ottimo cantante di canzoni italiane! TOP! Il progetto della fondazione è incredibile e siamo davvero felici di averlo conosciuto. Vi portiamo nel cuore!!! Un abbraccio gigante anche a Greta la nostra cucciolona!

Laura is an excellent person; she was always willing to help us; the students and teachers loved her classes. Laura is very responsable, proactive, she is always helping people to get solutions, and she is always happy. We highly recommend her as a teacher and friend. Laura was helping us for more than 3 weeks so we really apreciate all her help. We are gonna miss you Laura 🙏❤️

Joe was in France and came over to see if he could offer any help. His skills are in photographing weddings including being a cook for large numbers. He offered his technical advice and setup photo shoots to get some better photographs of the food I cook here. He didn't have his other lens with him,so unfortunately couldn't upgrade the existing ones on my web pages. Joe loved to meet the locals,and went out exploring and saying hi to my neighbours plus cats :) He also went over to the bar for coffees and beers,absorbing the local accent & vibe. Joe is funny. He'd be great with looking after your animals ie dog walking,feeding cats etc. A lovely human being

Britt and Brett are truly wonderful people. From the very first day, they made me feel at home and like part of their family. They are warm, kind, and always thoughtful, and little Rux was such a joy to spend time with. This experience was so much more than just a Workaway for me, and I will always be grateful for everything they shared with me. I truly hope to see them again soon! ❤️

The one month I spent here was really wonderful! Olli and Sari were very kind, cheerful, and full of humor! I really enjoyed talking with them. I will never forget the Finnish food and life I experienced here. Thank you so much, Olli, Sari, and the members of Oth! I hope we can meet again someday! Oth!!!!

🇬🇧 English Federico stayed with us for a month and we had a great experience with him! He is reliable, curious, and always ready to help. He worked enthusiastically with the animals, in the vegetable garden, and also took care of maintaining the electric fences and many other practical tasks around the farm. What we appreciated the most was his positive spirit, eagerness to learn, and ability to adapt easily to any situation. He was both a precious help and a very pleasant company. We are really happy about his stay with us and warmly recommend him to anyone who has the chance to host him! ⸻ 🇪🇸 Español Federico estuvo con nosotros un mes y ¡nos encantó la experiencia! Es un chico responsable, curioso y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Trabajó con entusiasmo tanto con los animales como en el huerto, y también se ocupó del mantenimiento de los cercados eléctricos y de muchas otras tareas prácticas en la granja. Lo que más valoramos fue su actitud positiva, sus ganas de aprender y su facilidad para adaptarse a cualquier situación. Fue una ayuda muy valiosa y al mismo tiempo una compañía muy agradable. Estamos muy contentos de haberlo tenido con nosotros y lo recomendamos de corazón a cualquiera que tenga la suerte de recibirlo.

Jingyuan stayed with us for about two weeks. She's a very beautiful, kind, and warm woman, calm, and intelligent. She's eager to help, and I regret not staying longer. I recommend her to any host.

my stay here was amazing, the people was welcoming and very nice. there was a lot of independent work, which I loved. overall a great experience!

Michael and I worked together very well. His strengths are particularly evident in the field of computers, where he was always competent and reliable in providing help. He also contributed actively to practical tasks, supporting us with skill and dedication wherever he could. In his free time, we played beach tennis together and enjoyed many pleasant moments. Michael is a kind and calm personality, whom we came to value very much. We truly grew fond of him and would be happy to welcome him back at any time.

Marina & Samantha contacted us early, and after many messages of communication and calls, we agreed on the arrival date. The next day after arrival, they had a unexpected wedding to attend and left the place :(

After 6 months of traveling, I put down my bag for 10 days at Julia and Jackie's, 2 girls full of energy, very creative, who have great knowledge about plants, the earth, nutrients, animals etc... I participated in the transition between tent accommodation and permanent accommodation, at the top of the mountain, in the middle of lush vegetation: this place is designed for community life in the middle of incredible nature, the girls take care of the abundant land and conducive to self-sufficiency (solar panel and rainwater already in place). The work was hard for me because the heat and humidity make each task difficult but, the girls knew how to intersperse the moments of working the land with cooking activities where I was able to learn to make tofu, peanut oil, coconut milk and above all, I now know how to cook rice properly! THANK YOU to you girls and a big BRAVO for your project, if there were more Julia/Jackie, the world would be very different!

What can I say? This experience was truly beyond beautiful. I cherished every single second of it. The land carries such a magical, calming energy that made me feel at home from the very first moment. Adam and Dana were incredible hosts, radiating warmth and love. I learned so much from them. Adam with his deep knowledge and passion for permaculture and the land, and Dana with her profound spiritual wisdom and gentle guidance. Their presence was both grounding and inspiring. I loved every shared laugh, every deep conversation, and every quiet moment in between. Beyond the daily work, I had the freedom to simply be with the land, to follow my own rhythm, and to let creativity flow. The land itself inspired me in countless ways, softening me, opening me, and reconnecting me with a deeper sense of self. I also had the chance to explore beyond the homestead, visiting inspiring projects, joining a light language sound bath, celebrating with community at a pizza party and a birthday, and experiencing the vibrant market in Freedomville. It was beautiful to witness all that people are creating there and how wholeheartedly they support one another. I am endlessly grateful for being welcomed, for being part of this vision, and for the chance to share in this journey. It touched me deeply, and I carry the inspiration within me. I truly hope to return soon 🌀🤍

We had the pleasure of welcoming the two sisters Luna and Carmen from Slovenia to this place for 14 days. They are two wonderful, warm-hearted young women who delighted us with their open, friendly, and communicative nature. They contributed in many areas – cooking, gardening, maintaining the outdoor spaces, and cleaning rooms. They carried out all tasks reliably, helpfully, and with joy. We also shared lots of fun together: plenty of laughter, dancing, and memorable experiences – even joining us at the New Pop Festival in Baden-Baden. We truly enjoyed the time with them and would be more than happy to welcome them back anytime. A wholehearted recommendation! Wir durften für 14 Tage die beiden Schwestern Luna und Carmen aus Slowenien bei uns an diesem Ort willkommen heißen. Es sind zwei super nette, herzliche junge Frauen, die uns mit ihrer offenen, freundlichen und kommunikativen Art sehr erfreut haben. Sie haben sich in vielen Bereichen engagiert – beim Kochen, in der Gartenarbeit, bei der Pflege des Außengeländes sowie beim Reinigen der Zimmer. Alles haben sie zuverlässig, hilfsbereit und mit Freude übernommen. Viel Freude geteilt: viel Lachen, Tanzen und gemeinsame Erlebnisse – sogar beim New Pop Festival in Baden-Baden waren sie mit dabei. Wir haben die Zeit mit ihnen sehr genossen und würden uns jederzeit freuen, sie wieder bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen. Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Mihaela & Hermis are a great couple, they are a joy to have around with a great positive attitude and also input to whatever project they are working on, they were a pleasure to host.
