Hi guys, my name is Berenika and I just love to experience new cultures and learn languages :)
I´m a very positive person who likes people with a good sense of humor.
It is important to me, that my hosts would also have a positive attitude.
I love to do bikepacking - I went to several countries and islands by my bicycle, e.g. Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Holland, Sardegna, Korsika, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia.
Since two years I do work and travel and currently I´m in Switzerland working as a waiter.
My dream after the travel is to buy some land, build a house and to have a farmstay with chickens, dogs, alpakas and a donkey :). I would love to learn all necessery skills to realise that :)
My work experience: I did care work for couple of years and worked with physically handicaped people and worked in 24/48 hours shifts. You can be sure, that responsobillity is one of skills I bring with :) I also worked as receptionist, kitchenhelp, waiter, barista and baker and I really love to host guests and meet new people.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Indoor skills:
I know how to: knitt , sew, cook, bake, clean, paint the walls, play guitar & djembe, started to play drums,sing (blues&soul), decorate rooms , take care of plants, repair toilet flush (really :D ), attach shelves, use the drill and hammer, construct IKEA furniture :D
Outdoor skills:
I know how to: cut down trees with an axe (it can take 5 ours, but at the end of the day the work is done :D ),
to fish (have a fishing license),
pick mushrooms, collect some medicinal herbs and use them as salve, tinctures, liqueurs, etc,
paint barn and fence and also help to build them,
slaughter and process chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and rabbits (yes, I grew up on a farm :) )
prepair wood for fireplace, repair a bikecycle, milk cows, muck out stables, clean horses' hooves, ride horses, make jam from fruit and pick vegetables!

I love to take care of animals, feed them, all that work surrounding animals. I grew up in a farm with chickens, ducks, pigeons, dogs, cats, horses, gooses, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and cows. :)
My passion is to read books and I would love to exchange with you about our favourite books /authors or the worsest. :)
I´m addicted to knitt islandic sweaters. One is done, I immidiatly start to knitt the next :D
I am an open minded person, I do have one extrovert and one introvert side. I like to be around the people and also enjoy the silcence and being alone.
