About Me
Hello! My name is Daniel. I was born in Colombia and have been living in Santa Cruz, California since 2012. I feel very fortunate to call this beautiful place home, surrounded by beaches, mountains, and majestic redwood forests. Nature has always been one of my greatest sources of inspiration.
I am an active, positive, and curious person who enjoys meeting people from different cultures, learning new skills, and contributing wherever I go. I believe that some of the best life experiences come from meaningful connections, cultural exchange, and working together toward a common goal.
Since December 2023, I have been running my own YouTube fitness channel, where I share short workout videos designed to help people build healthy habits, stay active, and improve their quality of life. I am also a certified fitness coach and enjoy encouraging others to take care of their physical and mental well-being.

Hospitality & Customer Service
I have experience working in hospitality, including at the Hilton Hotel in Scotts Valley, California. I have also volunteered and worked in hostels in Colombia and Alaska. These experiences taught me the importance of creating a welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service, and helping guests feel at home.
Arts, Creativity & Design
Creativity has always been an important part of my life. I enjoy drawing, sketching, and creating art inspired by nature, animals, and everyday life. I have also worked with stained glass, leather crafting, mosaics, and other handmade projects. I love learning new artistic techniques and contributing to creative projects.
Physical Work & Outdoor Projects
I genuinely enjoy physical work and staying active. Whether it's gardening, landscaping, painting, maintenance, cleaning, organizing spaces, trail work, or construction support, I am always happy to contribute with energy and enthusiasm.
Languages & Communication
I am bilingual in Spanish and English, which allows me to connect easily with people from different backgrounds. I enjoy helping with translation, language exchange, guest interaction, and cultural exchange.
Professional Background
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and worked for 12 years in the banking industry in Colombia. This experience helped me develop strong organizational skills, responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
