  Beschreibung

  We're a British couple with a teenage son and a cat. We moved to France in 2020 to live next to Plum Village Monastery and to participate in their mindfulness activities and the wider lay community.
  Our home is 5 minutes walk from Plum Village's Lower Hamlet and we love popping in for evening meditation at the end of the day.
  Our home has two beautiful yurts in the garden, compost toilets and a two great showers. We're lucky enough to have peach, fig, nectarine, apple, pear, walnut and hazelnut trees in abundance.
  We live in a quiet valley, a few minutes drive from Loubes Bernac, which has a post office and a restaurant, 20 minutes from Eymet with it's bustling restaurants and beautiful weekly market and 25 minutes from Bergerac.

  Unterkunft

  We have a yurt which has 4 single beds. The beds can be joined to make doubles. The compost toilets and shower blocks are clean and modern. We offer food and lodging.
  
  We will have dinner together and for lunch and breakfast we usually self-serve something simple. We may ask you to participate with the cooking, and or the cleaning up afterwards.
  
  We can cater for veggie and gluten-free diets.

  We have bicycles at your disposal and carpooling works quite well with the whole community of Plum Village neighbours.
  We live next to Plum Village one of the most famous zen monasteries in Europe founded by Thich Nhat Hanh) . You will have the opportunity to visit during your stay.
  
  The Dordogne is a very beautiful region, with lots of nature. We are 25 min from Bergerac, a beautiful touristic town, and we are 1h30 from Bordeaux.
