Beschreibung
Come and join in and help on the land and around the house . at this lovely meditation community on the edge of a village with amazing views across to the mountains. It's a beautiful place , perfect for meditation and being here in central Portugal.
Join us and share in a small community environment, helping with the work, joining in the daily meditation and community living. There is a perfect space for yoga and your own practice. We hold monthly meditation days for the larger community, music evenings every few weeks .

Workaways will have the opportunity to join in a structured daily routine of meditation, work, shared meals and time for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful environment.
Walk down to the local Portuguese village of Barril de Alva and enjoy the local life or visit the nearest town and markets on days off. Workaways will have the chance to learn and practice meditation, be in nature and a peaceful environment and to share your experiences with other workaways and the host. There are many beauitful walks nearby in the mountains or going swimming in the clear cool river ,Praia Fluvial Urtigal. Or just take in the surrounding nature which is full of wonderful birdlife and animals.
You can also learn gardening and how to care for nature .
Magic the dog will be your best friend also while you're here !
Arbeit
Workawayers with an interest in meditation advisable.
Mostly the work will be on land and help with a vegetable garden weeding , and planting picking and pickling.
Cooking and meal preparation and washing up and house cleaning will be shared and done daily.
Some DIY and construction work and painting .
People who can use a grass strimmer machine are particularly welcome.
