We are a social project located in a small town Caraz near Huaraz. We provide convenience to the children in nearby villages, in order for them to better enjoy school life. We also occasional have tour projects in the area.
Somos un proyecto social ubicado en un pequeño pueblo de Caraz cerca de Huaraz. Brindamos comodidad a los jovenes en las aldeas cercanas, para que puedan disfrutar mejor de la vida escolar. También ocasionalmente tenemos proyectos turismo la zona.

The volunteer will have the authentic experience of living in a small Peruvian town Caraz. Caraz is a beautiful and peaceful place surrounding by mountains. There are many great places to visit around Caraz, such as the famous lagoon 69.
There are not many people around speak English. You will have the opportunity to practice your Spanish everyday. so your Spanish will certainly improve a lot during the stay.
We would love to share our culture with you and you will be able to learn about the Perviuan lifestyle and the history of the area.
El voluntario tendrá la experiencia auténtica de vivir en un pequeño pueblo peruano de Caraz. Caraz es un lugar hermoso y pacífico que rodea las montañas. Hay muchos lugares geniales para visitar alrededor de Caraz, como la famosa laguna 69.
No hay muchas personas alrededor que hablen inglés. Tendrás la oportunidad de practicar tu español todos los días. por lo que su español ciertamente mejorará mucho durante la estadía.
Nos encantaría compartir nuestra cultura con usted y podrá aprender sobre el estilo de vida de Perviuan y la historia de la zona.

Arbeit
We have a cafeteria in the local school which needs help with serving the students.
We also run tours to the nearby lagoons during the holidays. It will be nice if the volunteer can help with translation, therefore we need that the volunteer to speak at least basic Spanish.
We would like to have the volunteer to teach English and Maths to the two girls at home.
Occasional helps with the garden and the computer.
Tenemos una cafetín en la escuela local que necesita ayuda para atender a los estudiantes.
También organizamos excursiones a las lagunas cercanas durante las vacaciones. Sería bueno si el voluntario puede ayudar con la traducción, entonces necesitamos que el voluntario habla Español básico por lo menos.
Nos gustaría tener el voluntario para enseñar inglés y matemáticas a las dos chicas en casa.
Ocasionalmente ayuda con el jardín y la computadora.

Unterkunft
The volunteer will stay in our house. We have a cabin for our volunteers. You will have to share a room when we have more than 1 volunteer.
We have a solar panel for hot shower which means that the shower will be very nice and hot on sunny days.
We will share all our meals together, breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want, you can also prepare your food in the kitchen.
El voluntario se quedará en nuestra casa. Tenemos una cabaña para nuestros voluntarios. Tendrá que compartir una habitación cuando tengamos más de 1 voluntario.
Tenemos un panel solar para la ducha de agua caliente, lo que significa que la ducha será muy agradable y calurosa en los días soleados.
Compartiremos todas nuestras comidas juntas, desayuno, almuerzo y cena. Si lo desea, también puede preparar su comida en la cocina.

Caraz is 1 hour away from Huaraz and there are daily buses going to Lima.
We have had many experience hosting foreign visitors.
There are many wonderful and interesting places to visit around Caraz. You can go to visit the Lagoons, on the weekend or you can even go on hiking and camping for a couple days in the Huascaran National Park.
You can also go visit the nearby towns like Yungay, Carhuaz and Mancos which are intertesting small towns off the tourist track and full of surprises.
Caraz está a 1 hora de Huaraz y hay autobuses diarios que van a Lima.
Teníamos muchas experiencias de alojamiento de visitantes extranjeros.
Hay muchos lugares maravillosos e interesantes para visitar alrededor de Caraz. Puedes ir a visitar las lagunas los fines de semana o incluso puedes ir de excursión y acampar durante un par de días en el Parque Nacional Huascarán.
También puede visitar las ciudades cercanas, como Yungay, Carhuaz y Mancos, que están intercalando pequeños pueblos alejados de la ruta turística y llenos de sorpresas.

We stayed two weeks in Caraz and it was a really relaxing time. The work starts at 06:45 am to bring the children to Yungay in the school and after this we had breakfast all together.
