  Beschreibung

  We are Sieska (Dutch-speaking) and Philippe (French-speaking), a welcoming, open-minded couple who enjoy good company. We live surrounded by nature, woods, and water. Here, cats, a dog, and chickens live together in perfect harmony. We are renovating an old mill dating from the late 18th century and have a large garden and vegetable patch. Our philosophy is to live as much as possible in harmony with nature. We are interested in various farming methods. We have already completed many major renovations. Now, for the next phase, we would like to work together in a social setting. Furthermore, we are also working on adapting the surrounding land to suit our needs. We are located in the Hermeton Valley, 40 minutes from Namur, an hour and a half from Brussels, in the heart of the High Fens.
  
  Nous sommes Sieska (Néerlandophone) et Philippe (Francophone), une couple accueillant, ouvert d’esprit qui aimons la bonne compagnie.
  Nous vivons en pleine nature entourer de bois et d’eaux.
  Ici, chats, chien et la basse court vivent ensemble en pleine harmonie.
  Nous rénovons un vieux moulin de la fin du 18ieme siècle et avons un grand jardin et potager. Notre philosophie est de vivre le plus possible en harmonie avec la nature.
  Nous nous intéressons à plusieurs procédés de cultures.
  Nous avons déjà fait beaucoup de grosses rénovations. Maintenant pour la suite on voudrait faire le travail ensemble dans la rencontre sociale.
  En outre, nous travaillons également à l'adaptation en fonction de nos besoin du terrain environnant.
  Nous sommes situés dans la vallée de l’Hermeton, à 40 minutes de Namur, à 1 heure et demi de Bruxelles, au centre des Fagnes.

  At Le Moulin, we can offer you the opportunity to learn what it takes to care for a century-old house, how to chop wood, how to care for the land, and how to live in the Famenne countryside. The tasks, both inside and out, is varied and always done with natural materials. From building partition walls and cladding them to cultivating the land and preparing firewood, we place great importance on a task well done, without neglecting the equally important need for enjoying life. We are people who live in the present moment and expect volunteers to be friendly, enthusiastic, and have a good understanding of what's needed.
  
  Au Moulin, nous pouvons vous proposer d'apprendre ce qu'implique la rénovation d'une maison centenaire, couper du bois, comment prendre soin de la terre et comment vivre dans la campagne de la Famenne.
  Les travaux tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur sont divers et se font toujours avec des matériaux naturels.
  De la fabrication de cloison séparant des pièces avec leur bardages à la culture de la terre passant par la préparation du bois de chauffage, nous attachons une grande importance au travail bien fait sans omettre la nécessité tout aussi importante du plaisir de vivre.
  Nous sommes des personnes qui vivons au présent des choses et attendons des volontaires de la convivialité, de l’enthousiasme et un minimum de capacité d’anticipation.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for help with the upkeep of the grounds and house, depending on the time of year and season. Possible activities include:
  * Help with household chores and cooking.
  * Gardening (mowing the lawn, trimming hedges, weeding, sowing and planting vegetables, etc.).
  * Wood tasks (in winter): gathering branches, collecting firewood.
  * Small DIY projects and minor repairs.
  
  Nous recherchons de l'aide pour l'entretien du terrain et de la maison selon le moment et la saison.
  
  Les activités possibles :
  
  * Aide aux tâches ménagères et à la cuisine.
  * Jardinage et entretien (tondre la pelouse, tailler les haies, désherber, semer et planter des légumes, ...).
  * Travail dans le bois (en hiver): ramasser des branchces, aller chercher du bois
  * Projets de bricolage et petites réparations

  Unterkunft

  In exchange for 5 hours of help per day, 5 days a week, we offer three good meals a day and a room with a separate shower and toilet for volunteers. We usually prepare the meals, but we may occasionally ask for your help, as we share meals together.
  
  En échange de 5 heures d'aide par jour, 5 jours par semaine, nous vous offrons trois bons repas quotidiens et une chambre. Avec douche et WC séparés pour les volontaires.
  En général, nous préparons les repas, mais nous vous demanderons parfois un peu d'aide, car nous partageons les repas ensembles.

  It's a beautiful region of forests, fields, and meadows with rivers and numerous hiking trails—one of which even starts right on our property. We often go hiking with our dog, and you're more than welcome to join us! Philippeville train station is a 15-minute drive away, and Dinant train station is 30 minutes away. We can pick you up, just as we can from Givet train station if you're coming from France.
  
  C'est une belle région forestière, de champs et de prairies avec des rivières et de nombreux sentiers de randonnée - l'un d'entre eux commence même sur notre terrain. Nous faisons souvent des randonnées avec notre chien, et vous êtes bien sûr les bienvenus !
  La gare de Philippeville est à 15 minutes en voiture et la gare de Dinant à 30 minutes. On peut venir vous chercher. Comme à la gare de Givet si vous veniez de France.
