Located in the valley of Villalonga, overlooking orange fields and mountains, Villa Serra Estruch is a house many are dreaming about. Over two floors, the white Spanish countryside villa has a large terrace and pool, a growing permaculture garden, a private forest up the mountain, and many furry friends.
Elly the owner of the house is a retired English woman who needs help running the house. She lives alone with Nancy and June, her dogs, and Gerthy and Ralf the cats. Nika is renting the downstairs apartment and helps Elly around the house when she isn't busy developing her cultural and spiritual retreat center down the valley.
As a workaway here you should mainly help Elly clean the house and help in the garden.
On your off time, you can enjoy the pool side and go for hikes in the national park only 15 min away from the house. You can also have a swim in the river Serpis!
Elly Only speaks English, but Nika who is taking care of the Workaway profile can communicate in French, English, German and Spanish.

Being at Villa Serra Estruch, you will not only enjoy the Spanish country side, but also you will be at proximity to the Aurigin project which Nika is currently building. This might be of interest for people with creative and spiritual affinities.

We do not have a car, but the Village is only 15 walk from the house.
There is the possibility to borrow a bicycle to move around.
From the Village of Villalonga, you can take a bus to Gandia. Gandia is about 200K inhabitants and you will find most goods that you could need.
Valencia is 1h train ride from the Gandia train station.
