  We are a couple between 55 and 60 years old. Our names are Nathalie and Olivier.
  We live in the Meuse Valley, near Namur, 60 km south of Brussels.
  Our house is located in a beautiful little village, and we have a magnificent view of the landscape (woods, meadows, streams, valley).
  Our four children left home some time ago to live their own lives, not too far from us.
  We have a garden that we are trying to tame, and plans to landscape it.
  We work in the town near our home, Nathalie with people with disabilities, and Olivier in IT security.
  In summer, we welcome guests or walkers for a drink or a home-cooked meal on our outdoor terrace. We support local producers.
  We enjoy walking and cycling, nature, cultural exchanges, good food, friendly atmospheres, artistic creativity, gardening, reading and music.
  We regularly set off in our van for trips lasting several weeks (Norway, Ireland, France, Italy, Sicily, Spain, etc.). We love this freedom of pace.
  Olivier is also a workawayer. We are active grandparents.
  We are gourmands: of life, good times, good food, enriching relationships, sunshine and nature.
  Slow living, respecting our environment, favouring local producers, being open to all democratic ideas: these are just some of the facets of who we are.
  Vegetarians and vegans are welcome. We would prefer to host a mother or father with a young child, to make travelling easier for them.

  Nous sommes un couple entre 55 et 60 ans. Nous nous appelons Nathalie et Olivier.
  Nous vivons dans la vallée de la Meuse, près de Namur, à 60 km au sud de Bruxelles.
  Nous maison se situe dans un beau petit village, et nous avons une vue magnifique sur le paysage (bois, prairie, cours d’eau, vallée).
  Nos 4 enfants ont quitté la maison depuis un certain temps pour vivre leur vie, pas trop loin de chez nous.
  Nous avons un jardin que nous tentons de domestiquer, et des projets pour l’aménager.
  Nous travaillons dans la ville proche de la maison, Nathalie avec des personnes en situation de handicap, et Olivier dans la sécurité informatique.
  En été, nous accueillons des hôtes ou des marcheurs pour boire un verre ou prendre un repas fait maison sur notre terrasse extérieure. Nous soutenons les producteurs locaux.
  Nous aimons les promenades à pied ou en vélo, la nature, les échanges culturels, la bonne bouffe, les ambiances conviviales, la créativité artistique, le jardinage, la lecture et la musique.
  Nous partons régulièrement en van plusieurs semaines pour nos voyages (Norvège, Irlande, France, Italie, Sicile, Espagne, …). Nous adorons cette liberté de rythme.
  Olivier est également un workawayer. Nous sommes de grands-parents actifs.
  Nous sommes des gourmands : de la vie, de bons moments, de bonne bouffe, de contacts enrichissants, de soleil et de nature. Slow living, dans le respect de notre environnement, en privilégiant les producteurs locaux, en étant largement ouverts à toutes les idées démocratiques : voilà quelques-unes de nos facettes.
  Végétariens et végans sont les bienvenus. Nous privilégierons l’accueil d’une maman ou d’un papa avec son jeune enfant, afin de leur permettre de voyager plus facilement.

  We value the exchange of ideas, practices, techniques and points of view.
  Sharing a meal together is the ideal opportunity for this.
  
  Our house is located 8 km from Namur, a beautiful little town with a citadel, shopping streets and a pedestrianised centre. It is easy to get there by bus, or you can take advantage of the car shuttle service in the morning and evening with Nathalie. We can also lend you a bicycle.
  From our place, workawayers can visit Namur (8 km) or Dinant (25 km) by bus. By train, you can travel to Brussels (60 km) or Bruges (2 hours), Cologne (2½ hours), Paris (3½ hours), etc.

  Nous attachons de l’importance aux échanges d’idées, de pratiques, de techniques, de points de vue.
  Notre maison est située à 8 km de Namur, une très belle petit ville, avec sa citadelle, ses rues commerçantes et son centre piétonnier . On peut s’y rendre en bus assez facilement, ou profiter de la navette en voiture le matin et le soir avec Nathalie. Nous pouvons également prêter un vélo.
  Au départ de chez nous, les workawayer pourront visiter Namur (8km) ou Dinant (25km) en bus. En train, on peut se rendre à Bruxelles (60km) ou Bruges (2h), Cologne (2h30), Paris (3h30), …

  We are seeking assistance with several things among the following, to be agreed with the workawayer in advance:
  
  - Helping us in the garden: help in the vegetable patch or maintaining the garden
  - Building a raised vegetable patch
  - Various light creative DIY projects inside the house
  - Meal preparation/service for the family
  - house cleaning help
  - Etc.

  Nous recherchons de l’aide pour plusieurs choses parmi les suivantes, à convenir avec le workawayer à l'avance :
  - nous aider dans le jardin : travailler dans le potager ou à l’entretien du jardin

  - Divers travaux légers d’aménagement à l’intérieur de la maison
  - Nettoyage dans la maison
  - Préparation/service de repas de famille
  - Etc.

  We offer a private bedroom in our house, with a bathroom for guests. You will have access to the washing machine.
  We eat dinner together at least once a day.
  We do not accept pets.
  
  We can accommodate a single parent with a child.

  Nous mettons à disposition une chambre à coucher privée dans notre maison, avec salle de bain pour l’hôte. Vous avez accès à la machine à laver le linge.
  Nous prenons au minimum le repas du soir ensemble.
  Nous n'accueillons pas d'animaux.
  Il est possible d’accueillir un parent seul avec son enfant.
