Hi we have over 14 years experience hosting helpers from all over the World from various platforms and we run a Bed and Breakfast in a really beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales .
We are looking for a,NON SMOKER, positive, fun, organised,keen on attention to detail and that little bit special so tell us why your the helper we need and what special qualities you can bring!
Time for dedicated English conversation practice.
Minimum stay 4 weeks . The B&B is an ideal place to study or write your papers for university.
Friendly welcome awaits and expect the same in return. We are open minded and live a very English way of life lots of Tea and cakes!. The B&B is an excellent base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales on foot, by bike or local buses. York,Leeds,Bradford,Salts Mill, Malham(Tarn and limestone pavements) Haworth(home of the brontes) and Manchester easy to get to. Beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife to see or photograph otters, kingfishers,owls and many more. Good accommodation, meals and payment. It is easy to get to us, national express buses come to Skipton (where we pick you up) from all over the uk. Nearest Airport is Leeds/Bradford where we can pick you up.
Digital Nomads/ remote workers welcome, we can discuss.
We do not help with settlement or residency claims or visa applications or passing English exams and health insurance should be purchased before travelling.

We have had many helpers and enjoyed there company and look forward to many more. Also been a volunteer in Poland and really enjoyed it. It is our ambition to host helpers and guests from all over the World and surprisingly we are well on our way to doing so. Sports lovers especially Table Tennis. We are now welcoming back some of our previous helpers and there families and catching up with them and it is great to see them all again. Trying to live a life where time and money and less important and good company and new experiences are. Varied day to day tasks arise also help with the dry stone walling, decorating in the autum/winter time and gardening, general help around the house, personal assistant.

A room in the house with its own lock and NON SMOKERS ONLY. We host 1 or 2 workawayers at a time but not couples or friends and not from the same country so you have to use English all the time and learn a lot quicker!

I had a great experience with Richard and his family even though I couldn’t stay as long as planned. The house was very homely and cosy with a wood burning stove and the village is really beautiful!
