We have alternative bed&breakfast and venue set in peaceful, rural Sarama Valley in Cyprus.
It's an off grid project and consists of 3 authentic Mongolian yurts, event area and a straw bale house (communal area, owner's and helper's accommodation) all built on 2.5 acres of land.
The yurts are surrounded by fields and hills with stunning views of the valley.
Accommodation is offered to individuals, couples and families. We are pet friendly. Our most popular stays are 2 night breaks and we are open and busy all year. Occasionally music events are organised and wellness (yoga, meditation) workshops.

Helping with Tourists
I'm looking for a helper ready to start end of March for minimum 3 to maximum 4 months.
We have periods of more work and periods of quiet time, so some flexibility is essential to adjust to our needs.
Hours are 5 per day on average and there will be 2 days off a week for sightseeing, beach etc.
I am looking for an individual with a "can do" attitude, wanting to experience off-grid living and co-creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Guests visiting this place are like-minded, nature lovers and many come again.
The help is mainly centred around house keeping and customer care: greeting and showing guests around, cleaning. More and more of our guests ask for vegetarian and vegan meals, so ability to provide those would be a bonus.
We have huge grounds so there is always some work involved in tree care and we have an ongoing permaculture project.
Our latest addition will be bee hives, starting from March.
Most of the visitors go cycling or walking so ability to give directions is essential. Also for that reason the minimum stay for the helper is required as it takes some time to settle in and get to know the area.
English, Polish, Greek
Our volunteer will be accommodated in a house in a private room.
The bathroom will be shared with the owner.
The house also contains a communal lounge and a kitchen and our guests are welcome to use it during their stay.
The meals are also served in the communal kitchen.
The communal parts are separated from volunteer/host accommodation.
Cyprus, an island in the eastern Mediterranean, has rich, turbulent history stretching back to antiquity. Known for its beaches, it has a rugged interior with wine-growing regions. It’s separated into a Greek south and Turkish north, with the capital Nicosia also divided. Coastal Paphos is famed for its archaeological sites relating to the cult of Aphrodite, including ruins of palaces, tombs and mosaic-adorned villas.
Limited internet access
We have pets
We are smokers
This is a great opportunity to experience off-grid living.
Cyprus is also a beautiful Mediterranean island with over 300 days of sunshine, very hospitable people and great cultural heritage.
Guests visiting us are with very interesting background and keen to share stories and life experiences.
The place is run in an eco-friendly, unique way, so plenty to learn in a short space of time.
Maximum 5 hours a day on average, 5 days a week
