Our workaway experience is about mutually beneficial fun. Many of my guests say that this is an experience like no other, as I do not just expect something from you, but I give too. You will be welcome to join us on our nights out, our weekend activities, our travels, you will be welcomed in as a part of the family and really, most people never want to leave... and some come back again and again :)
We have also bought a large sailboat which we are working to complete repairs on from the hurricane, and improve the interior and also exterior including to re-rig in traditional fashion and set up as a good sound cruising boat again so there is the chance to learn boat work as well. I am a very good teacher and love sharing my skills and knowledge with enthusiastic people. We are living onboard this boat currently and have room for 2 guests to join our family and fun. While the main focus of this listing is to get folks to help with day to day life on the boat, and the boat rebuild project, I do have another business, which is in the yachting industry and you may be able to learn about this while helping with things like photographs, data entry, preparing vessels for sailing and actively sailing them for testing etc, and meet new people.
Stays of 30-90 days are ideal, and you will have one of the most unique experiences of a lifetime. Come visit us!

Here in the BVI on my project we are working on using our energy and our business to develop the community we wish to live in all around us. Some cultures believe that you should work hard, focus, keep your head down, save, and one day in the future you will be rewarded with retirement and fun. We believe that you should make every day fun, and do work that is so interesting to you its difficult to tell whether you are working or just living! Come visit, help, and learn about the NOW. Your reality is created with each decision you make.
We are looking for energetic, creative people to help us make the most of this off-grid yachting lifestlye. General cleaning activities and moving supplies daily means we can also host you even if you don't have experience with those particular things.
