We are renovating a Grade 2 listed Georgian Rectory in the beautiful Staffordshire |Moorlands area, at the foot of the Peak District National Park. There is comfortable living accommodation in the house, with 6 double bedrooms and several bathrooms.
We are outgoing people and would welcome warm and genuine people into our home.
We breed shire horses and have 4 currently. We also have a smallholding with chickens, geese, goats, and 3 large dogs (Newfoundlands and a Labrador).
We need help primarily with taking care of our animals and with painting, decorating and gardening.

Help in the house
Firstly and most importantly, volunteers would need to like animals. We would like some help with taking care of the dogs and taking them for a walk to the river daily. Also help with the horses. We are building an arena for training the horses and would also like some help to complete it. If you are handy, then we would like some help with completing our renovation (decorating, odd jobs) and gardening.
