    UPDATE: I am now back on Workaway and have availability for most of 2021.

    I'm a single dad with a stunning 100 acre property in the beautiful Bellingen area, where I run 3 luxury holiday chalets - which we've been doing as a family for 20 years. Now that my sons are grown-up and no longer live here (though they still love to visit!) there is a lot of work for me to do on my own, so I'd love for you to come and stay and help out!

    The tasks are cleaning, gardening and maintenance. The hours I would be looking for in exchange for accommodation and meals are approximately 4 per day plus some help preparing meals. I am getting a really good veggie garden going at the moment for great organic vegetables.

    I can usually only manage up to three workawayers at once, possibly more depending on the situation so please feel free to contact me. I prefer people wanting a longer stay of a month or two at the moment. Currently offering Non-jabbed volunteers a stay. I can offer you really nice and comfortable accommodation in the main house where I live. There is a huge deck with a beautiful view of the mountains and you will have a separate bathroom. I have a wood fire to heat the house on those cooler winter nights. We share the kitchen and I provide wonderful healthy ingredients. I eat a whole foods plant based (vegan) diet so if you are a good cook or can help out it is a big bonus.

    You can also use the other facilities here: tennis court, mountain bikes, games room and laundry. There is a lovely river to swim in just a walk away. I am Australian but speak French as well and love cycling, trekking, playing tennis and being active. Oh, did i mention travel ? I love to travel,
    see beautiful places and meet new people.

    If you are French speaking I can help with your English - though I'm no teacher! I am running a business in an extraordinary part of the world and you could get a unique insight into what goes into the management of a property like this one. You'll benefit from being immersed in nature, and hopefully will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed and with a greater appreciation for the great Australian outdoors!

    We are looking for helpers aged 25 years+ who are non smokers. It is ideal if you have your own transport so you can better explore the area and get into town by yourself, which is 15 minutes away by car. However, if you don't have a car and don't mind being a bit remote, I can collect you from the train station/other place you can reach - just get in touch and we can discuss.

    We live 12km North of Bellingen, a beautiful little town south of Coffs Harbour. We are close to the World Heritage Dorrigo National Park, and only 35 mins to beautiful beaches. We have a horse, two donkeys and chickens who like attention!
