    Description

    Re-imagining a family farm as a self-sustainable and environmentally-conscious community.

We are passionate about agriculture, surfing, travel, nature and the environment, who want to create a communal space where people from around the world can come to learn about sustainable living and ecological ideals; share delicious organic food from the gardens; surf; tell stories; share knowledge, ideas, culture and language; learn about farming, the environment, or just relax and enjoy the farm and surrounds.

We have dogs, cats, chickens, bees and a eucalyptus forest playing host to a plethora of wildlife. We have a large and productive vegetable garden with a range of vegetables and herbs, and a variety of fruit trees.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There is a small local store in Balneario Los Angeles, 3km away, which stocks basic food supplies, cheese, wine and beer but the main supermarkets are in Necochea.

We are a remote farm so be prepared for this and bring bug spray and sunscreen! Given our coastal location the farm is also often subject to strong winds from all directions so bring good shoes and something warm to wear.

Surfing: Balneario Los Angeles receives waves most of the year, and there we are! We don't provide surfboards or wetsuits yet, but we can guide you to get them in case you want to join.

There is no public transport from Necochea to the farm, although hitchhiking is very easy in the morning.

From Necochea it is approximately a 1 hour drive along a rough and un-surfaced rural dust road through open countryside. If you need supplies make sure to pick them up in Necochea as there is nothing in between Necochea and the farm!

The farm is situated on the outskirts of Balneario Los Angeles village, 30km south from Necochea, Buenos Aires province, with close links to the 228/227/88/86 routes and daily bus services connecting with the most important cities of Argentina. From Necochea you must take 98 avenue to the south, the rural road begins at the intersection with 91 avenue. Continue straight along the gravel lane, following the sign for Termas del Campo hot springs, after 26km you will reach the farm gate at your right, in the beginning of the eucalyptus woodland, just 2 km before Balneario Los Angeles Village.
