Besides working at the farm and selling wooden baths, in the Summer a do catering with my food truck. I graduated with a Master history after 13 years of part-time study at the University of Groningen. Specialty is food history. I have a nice rural place 5 km from a village, 12 from a railway station, and 25 from Groningen a student city in the North of Holland.

I'm an open-minded person with a view on organic farming and protecting our planet. My way of life is as sustainable as possible. I like to host other people and learn from their culture. I like music and other culture of various kind of people.
Help
on my 3ha organic farm, we are open to people who want to learn and work in the countryside with organic farming and animal care. The help is related to organic farming. All aspects of this will be experienced. Helping in the fields, repairing fences, animal feeding, and taking care. Cutting the hedges, weed pulling, making hay, helping in the fruit garden, etc., etc. Sometimes a little cleaning of the house or my guest homes is required. Like cooking myself and also to meet other cooking cultures.

We do have normal hours with breaks. Mostly we do have a small trip on Friday. Saturday afternoons and Sundays are free. We like non-smoking and enthusiastic people. We see work away as friendship between people, and an exchange of work against hosting and food. Although we do our utmost to create a nice atmosphere for me it's an interesting exchange in working versus hosting and getting new experiences. i

It is a really beautiful place to stay, the surroundings just as the wooden house you are staying at (with your 'own' floor, with bedroom, living room and bath room...all for yourself....)
