  Feel at home in our secure residence equipped with a private bedroom and bathroom. We are an Egyptian family whose family speaks primarily Arabic, but we also understand English. If you have the skills or desire to teach me to speak English, specifically conversation, it would be greatly appreciated. We open our doors and hearts to welcome you into our family for a period agreed upon by both parties.
  
  In order to truly benefit from your stay, we require a minimum commitment of three weeks. Before contacting the host, please ensure that you adhere to this arrangement. Our profile adequately depicts our lifestyle and the space you will be staying in. We hope to learn more about you through your photos or social media profiles, as it is important for us to get to know our potential guest. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from profiles that lack profile photos. Please note that this arrangement is a work exchange program that provides free accommodation and meals.

  They will experience Egypt and will be able to see Cairo and Giza including the pyramids, the Sphinx and other amazing places. Also, being an Egyptian family, they will try to eat new foods, learn some Arabic and also experience the culture in sunny Egypt.   At this time, we expect you to assist you with daily household chores, in addition to the basic requirement of 3-5 hours of daily assistance.

  You can learn conversational Arabic as my mom, dad and I can speak it. We will teach some Arabic.

  Accommodation

  We are staying in an apartment where you will be allocated a private bedroom. Regarding meals, we offer full board - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although you can use our kitchen to prepare breakfast or lunch, on most workdays we usually cook dinner, which is usually ready by 5:30 p.m.
  You will be responsible for your own laundry. In our house, everyone makes their own breakfast. We do provide WiFi, but we ask our guests to be mindful of speed and share it with other building occupants.
  We also have a policy regarding guest return times: we expect you to be home at ten o'clock before midnight because we are the ones who open the front door. Finally, please note that outside visitors are not allowed into our home. This is also a drug-free home.

  The Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, Memphis and Saqqara. Cairo has a lot to offer which will also include the Old Bazaar and Nile cruises. We go to our club once a week and have dinner there. There are also many cafes around if you want to enjoy Egyptian culture. We live about a mile from a metro (subway) station where you can access and it will take you anywhere in Cairo. Almost all types of restaurants are available around us (McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts and a large number of local Egyptian restaurants
