Description
Hi, My name is Nick.
I have lived in Edmonton, Alberta for over 30 years. My sister and I host travelers through bnb sites and other hosting sites. I have hosted over 150 guests and roommates. I am an superhost and was an avid traveler many years ago.
I can offer a private room, one single/double bed, a shared bathroom, shared kitchen and high speed internet in the core of Edmonton.
Food and snacks are provided on working days. There will be a pantry of goods to allow you to prepare meals on working days and access on your days off. Dietary restrictions are on a case by case basis and we ask that you please tell us in your introduction as we may or may not be able to fulfill your request. We do offer plenty of free time to explore and adventure.
Most stays are 2 - 3 weeks.

I myself can very busy with work and other things. I or my sister can give you all the information you will need to make it around the Edmonton and surrounding areas. If I do have time I would love to explore with you (but that is not a guarantee).
My sister has a wealth of knowledge of events happening in the city at any one time so please feel free to ask her and inquire.
Help
I am looking for general help and assistance with landscaping, paint and renovations. I have tools available and you will be helping under supervision from me or Amelia. You will never be running tools or doing things you are not comfortable with. However a can do attitude is a must!
There are several things required of the guest who stay on the property.

Getting to Edmonton from the airport:

Bus (The least pricey and longest way to travel)

If you prefer a longer but lower priced way to arrive at my home please use the city bus system. There is a specific bus that links the airport to the train system (bus 747) which costs $5 cash and can get you into the city. From there you must find a bus schedule to arrive at my location.

Edmonton Airport has free wifi so as long as you have a smart phone you can use it to download the app and call uber as well.

I stayed 10 days with Nick and I had a really great time. He showed me around Edmonton, took me to a farmers market and I met his friends. The work was easy and I learned new things. We always started working early so I had the afternoons off and went to explore Edmonton. Thank you for the great time!

Lana is exactly who she says she is. She is a very good listener and is was ready to work. Some of her task included doing dishes, cleaning, helping with outdoor landscaping, cooking, and baking. We stayed at Amelia's house and we met her house mates too, we shared meals and had good conversations. Amelia gave us a lot of info about Edmonton and the events that were happening, it was a really nice experience. We mainly we helped with cleaning, cooking, shovelling snow end with some DIY projects.
