!Looking for 1 girl volunteer for the summer season: August, September (at least 1 month commitment).
We run a guesthouse in the highlands of Scotland. A luxurious retreat of original character set in the magical Glens of West Argyll. Situated on the scenic shores of Loch Awe.
We always work with two workawayers during the summer (hopefully, you won't mind sharing a room together?) and prefer people able to commit for at least one month.
We need someone conscious and trustworthy to help us with the guest house. Once the guests leave their rooms, the beds can be made up or stripped (depending on whether they are staying on or leaving that day). Housekeeping is main duty, and I am quite fastidious in cleanliness. Apart from the household chores mentioned above, we have a large but very friendly Spinone who loves nothing more than being walked. So I hope you are an animal lover?
We also have a large garden. If you enjoy that, help in this department is never refused.
We are situated in a sleepy village, quite isolated, with a daily bus going in-out to the next village and around the area. However, our workawayers never seem to get bored and still manage to get around the area on their days and afternoons off. The scenery is absolutely wonderful and if you're an outdoorsy person, this is a beautiful base to start exploring the West of Scotland from.
I always like to skype, too, so that we are able to see each other before arrival, and would like a couple of references from previous employees, teachers or someone professional who has known you for at least two years.
