We are a language school with two branches in Vilnius and one in Kaunas, as well as three campsites off the campus in the beautiful Anykščiai/Utena area. We actively participate in workaway, especially in summers.

At the moment we are looking for native English speakers, also non-natives with no less than B2 in English who would be able and willing to work with teens in NATURE camps in Anykščiai area (that is a remote rural area, the closest small town Anykščiai is about 16 kilometers away, so lots of nature, zero clubs for parties).

If you are natively English, American, Canadian or Australian (or a non-native with great English), love teaching and a good laugh, are relaxed and independent, can communicate with very different people and do little moaning, then do contact us. After the camp we'll gladly provide you with a certificate and references for your future projects if needed.

    POSITIONS AVAILABLE for 2024:

Camp Teacher in Summer NATURE Camp (ANYKSCIAI AREA) - will suit you well if you love nature and teenagers are more interesting than annoying to you :)

Camp Cook in Summer NATURE Camp (ANYKSCIAI AREA) - will suit you if you're amazing at cooking for large groups :) (pay 250 EUR per week)

N.B. We'd be delighted to welcome people with medical/first aid training who would be able to take care of minor health problems of the campers.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

The responsibilities will include independently (using our resources or the internet) preparing activities and organising classes/seminars/workshops in English to kids and teens in a fun and entertaining way. The responsibilities will NOT include moaning and nagging and being lazy. We're expecting you to be quick witted and flexible, so that we can trust you with a group of 10-15 teenagers to manage during activity time. Sense of humour, ability to relate and talk to teens as well as show initiative in organising all types of activities would be very useful.

Please bear in mind that the campers may range from zero English to quite fluent.
We also would like to emphasise that the main purpose of our camps is fun and entertainment, education is not our primary goal (it's summer!), so do not be afraid to apply if you have zero teaching experience.

In Anykščiai nature camps you'll be on the same campsite with all teachers and teenagers (around 40-50 of them) all the time so be prepared for lots of social interaction. It would be great if you could prepare at least 5 group games as an activity you can use when you run out of ideas, just to be on the safe side (can be outdoor or indoor activities, most important that they do not require too much stuff and preparation time).

If you have questions, do not hesitate to ask. We'll arrange a video call with all candidates.

Most important thing, please don't contact us if you have no sense of humour. We are not a typical boring office-like school; we allow wearing casual clothes at work, we have three dogs in our reception and it's OK to have tea and cookies during class time. Like, seriously, be objective and contact us only if you are at least a bit above 'average fun' person. Ask us about IG for a better idea of who we are.
