Description
Hi I live in Tolga on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands. One hr drive inland from Cairns,
The town is surrounded by farmland and natural features e.g. walking tracks , mountain bike tracks, volcanic lakes by, rainforest and open woodlands, a man made dam the has fishing and all water sports available.
5min drive is the town of Atherton that has a good selection of shops.
My home is a two storey, 4 bedroom two bathrooms house.
I am an out door person that does white water paddling, bush walking, a bit of horse riding, I have a vegetable garden.
I work full-time Monday to Friday.
This is a non smoking house .

I can show the Travellers how to garden in the tropics, spend time talking about the area and show them the unique features of the atherton Tablelands wet-tropics areas, places to see and go. Explaining safety with the Australian wildlife e.g. crocodiles, snakes, ticks, cassowary's

Look after pet Guinea pigs, water garden, weeding of yard, mulching if needed, mowing of lawn when needed. Helping out other friends if in need

Accommodation
I have a two storey house, 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home. A shared lounge room down stairs and kitchen up stairs.
I live by myself but have a partner that will stay from time to time. I use the bedroom and bathroom upstairs.
The work away will be sleeping in one of the down stairs bedrooms that is available.
They will have access to the down stairs bathroom and toilet.
The shared laundry is downstairs.
The house yard is 1300 squares of flat ground, it has a vegetable garden, totally fenced with electric drivway gate.
I will be able to provide my work away guests with food while they are working for me, I will have basic food in the house. Then when the work away guests arrive we can discuss food requirements needed.
The kitchen has two fridges, that they can store any extra food items that needs to be kept cold. A large gas stove, plenty of food preparation space, dishwasher.
I would prefer that we make and plan the meals together so we can experience different types of foods
What else ...
There is a local bus service to Cairns daily.

If they have a car I will explain were to see the different sites. If no car I will be able to show them some depending on the time we have.

My house is designed as a family house so I am happy to host families. There is good internet and plenty of room for digital nomads to under go there work in a safe quiet places.

I have a larger size house yard that is dog safe, but I don't allow dogs and pets inside

He was patient with us and showed us his lovely garden and what was expected. A lot of the food in the pantry is from the garden so many of the meals made were very organic.
