We have around 150 musicians a year coming from all over the world for stays from 3 days up to 6 months. All come with a wish to "become the best version of themselves", taking part in our collective living and helping each other achieve personal goals. You would be a part of this fantastic atmosphere - meeting artists and musicians. We are learning every day on our micro farm and regularly volunteer receive help from local like-minded farmers, fishermen and craftsman.

Well that's us...... Welcome to our cello school!!

    In 2025 we are looking

    1. mainly for help on our micro-farm (organic).

    2. maintenance connected to the micro-farm

    3. If you also have brewing experience we are trying to start our beer project in 2025.

    4. If you have built a treehouse, we'd like to hear from you as we also have a small dream in the summer.... :)

Please do be in touch and mention your prior experience.

We do love that our workawayers have other talents but unfortunately do not accept workawayers to solely come and film/photograph/cook. You are so welcome to bring this as an addition to one of the tasks above !! :)

All applications will require an interview online and a minimum stay with us is from 2-3 weeks.

    About us:

On the coastline 60km south of Copenhagen, an international school for young elite classical music talents has made their home. Becoming one of the most viral stories to hit the classical music world in recent years, media coverage such as The New York Times has brought the story of our project to over 2 billion people worldwide. An explosion in interest is due to the unique ethos at the school - achieve a healthy work-life balance, side by side with world class music training. Outreach concerts, outdoor experiences and collective living are all part of their philosophy to create more balanced and ultimately better musicians.

We are located next to Lund (Stevns), a historic fishing village which features one of Denmark's oldest harbours - just a short distance from UNESCO World Heritage Site "Stevns Klint" (Stevns Cliffs). Hosting stunning views from the campus over to the island of Møn, founder and international award-winning cellist Jacob Shaw works closely alongside a board of industry leaders in classical music to help promote, support and educate young musical talents typically aged between 16-25.

The school has succeeded in bringing classical music to new audiences and in untraditional surroundings. It challenges and strengthens both international and Danish talents that are brought together. A solid foundation for their future is planted whilst on Danish soil through world class teaching, essential networking and a healthy life balance. We strengthens the quality of an already strong music scene in Denmark, whilst contributing to the spread of a quintessentially Danish approach to working: High quality training and focus going hand in hand with socializing, good home-grown food and strong respect for individual personalities.

We strive to become self-sufficient and have restored an old farm from 1800. We have chickens, pigs, fish very often, fruit trees and a large vegetable patch. We bake bread almost daily and eat collectively. We would LOVE to have your help with our project to help with the daily running of the mini-farm! We also fish, make artistic structures around the grounds and experiment with new things (such as mushroom farms, treehouses, overnight shelters and so on…!): Our place is a safe space for creativity and we’d love to have your input at all times - welcome to a musical farm!

Want to help us farming the land, restoring the property, being around like minded open creatives - then this workaway placement is for you!

Cooking and cleaning for the community is something we all take part in and this is not counted towards work hours but a part of living together - many hands make light work!! :)

We are located next to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Stevns Klint (Stevns Cliffs), and the absolutely stunning nature on the south-coast of Denmark. Copenhagen airport is just over an hours drive, and there is a train connection from the beach village of Rødvig that takes you to Køge (greater Copenhagen) in 35 minutes and central Copenhagen in 1.5 hours.
We have a fishing boat and a pleasure motorboat which can be used to explore the coastline around, plus bikes that you can reach the local train station (about 5km). There is a car that sometimes can be available if requested in advance for short trips to the local village.
