I stayed a bit more than a week at Hazel's and George's place. They seemed to be pretty relaxed and I felt welcomed within the first day. They contacted me because of gardening and videography help and I ended up doing cleaning and sanding furniture. They told me several times their bed and breakfast have to look as good as a hotel, so I tried my

After 7 hours of work, they still did not show any sign of appreciation. Through their review on my profile, I heard for the first time now, that they just provide one meal each working day. One person who stayed there even confirmed me to help myself if I feel like. I realised, that after a few days they had a problem with me, but I reassured myself several times if everything would be alright, as they did not tell me what was wrong. I feel sorry, that this Workaway experience did not worked out well for both of us and definitely would have wished for better communication. Dustin is a lovely person to have around. He is friendly and talks to everyone. He has some good adventures to share. We felt he didn't really understand the reciprocity of work away and felt he took advantage a little. We offer one meal a day and accomodation in return for work but he would help himself to three meals a day plus snacks and
… read more tea/coffee etc even on days where he did no work. He did eventually do some work but was a little slow and not really engaged. Perhaps the tasks were a little hard or boring for him. We are very flexible with work away but perhaps too much so and we felt we were taken advantage of a bit. It felt like the experience was all about him rather than being a shared experience.

We absolutely loved having Chris, Keshia and Grayson to visit! They were fabulous people with a great philosophy on life and we really enjoyed our time with them! We hope to see them again in the future! They are an absolute asset around the home, they engage with any tasks that need done and they are really dedicated and have great attention to

We absolutely recommend you host Sander and Sophie. They are fantastic company, lovely people, such a great help to have around and they positively contribute to life together. They fitted into our family so well and were able to adapt easily to our busy lifestyle and their help was just incredible! Their technical skills were so impressive, they
… read more really blew us away with the results! They've given us motivation and taught us so much in their 10 days here. We could have hosted them forever! Even when they weren't busy with setting up our website for us, they would turn their hand to helping us make beds, do laundry, or clean, they are really so helpful. They related well to our children and were patient and kind with them and I would happily trust them as babysitters. They made our lives so much better in the 10 days they stayed and I would highly recommend anyone to welcome them and give them the opportunity to assist you. They use initiative and are forward thinking and independent and therefore they are really easy to have around. Could not recommend them more highly!

Where to start to describe our stay with this lovely young family. We stayed for about 10 days and loved every bit of it. We could really add some value to them (we believe) by upgrading their existing website and help them to start monetizing it. We really liked doing the work and have learned quite a bit from them as well. Hazel, George and the

Definitely recommend staying with them if you have the possibility! And you guys are always welcome at our place once we're back in Europe! :DYou can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
