Description
Do you like helping people? Maybe you need a little extra hard physical work and want to help us tear down a porch? Or maybe you need to create a work of art and need a place to work? Maybe you want to work on a diesel car? Making outdoor fireplace? Setting up a greenhouse? Painting? Cleaning? I need it all! Are you in need of rest and just want to sleep half the day? Searching for something? Finding your spirituality or just want to learn more abouth the Norwgian ways? Here you can work hard or slow down, but at the same time get some new energy <3
I have a very small "minifarm" at the edge of Hokksund town. It's just half hour walk to the store or 4min by car. We have a separat building with sleeping comandations for you. We don't have any big animals, but our nabours have cows and horses, so there is ways to work with animals too. We do have our cat Sara and our African Giant Snails, Oscars and Burny.
We are a normal smal family, I live with with two kids (4-8) We cherish self-sustainability and we love to restore old things. Everything we own, we made or got for free, so we can use money for travel <3
We are Nerds, love Star Wars and Dr Who. Kjetil is the kids dad, he does not live with us anymore, but is a big part of the family still, he is a musician and game-writer and work in healthcare. Adriana is a therapist student, Licensed LifeCoach and also work in healthcare.
We are only 1 hour ish from Oslo by car or train. Lots of nature around and big farms. Great for People interested in hiking, bicycling or skis or just exploring Norway.Types of help and learning opportunities

We want someone who wants to experience Norway. We want people who wants to help us make this place, the best it can be. We don't really have a set list of things to do, and are chill and understanding and want you to use your personal skills and maybe some building and painting outside.

We need to do a big clean of the house and finish all the smal outdoor projects. Wash/Fix stuff that we don`t need and can sell. But the main focus now, is to get the house up and running, after some time not able to use the main house.

- Full wash of house outside

- Fixing 2 cars (Just engine fix, diesel filters, change of oils and breack system change - Toyota)
- Setting up a growhouse.
- Building a terrace
- Build a patio for outdoor conserts.

Own room in separate building with Internet and two Queen beds in the room. We eat as a family in the main house and are (Mostly) wegans during the week and eat meat in weekends, but you will also have options in your building to cook own food, (You have your own cookingplate and microwave and fridge.)
